  • -- WR as of 23/09/2019 -- I lost 2 seconds in the first two levels, and 2 more to the final boss's jump. Pretty solid otherwise. Copan skip was first try, but I could have saved more time with a better global timer on the alternating platforms. Maybe someday I'll go for sub-10:20. This run is dedicated to colinbolts. -- Watch live at / le_hulk

How do you do that skip in the Lost City of Copan right at the start consistently? I've been trying to practice it but nine times out of ten I don't seem to pass through the wall :(

Don't worry, it's not consistent for me either ;) I luckily got it first try in this run, that's all.

How did you avoid taking the twin-cheetah boss fight?

I took the magic pepper a bit before, which allowed me to jump over the boss's trigger and get to the end of the level right away. It seems that the developers didn't anticipate that you could simply avoid the boss entirely :D
As far as I'm aware, this only works on the SNES version of the game (not on Genesis or PC).
