As a scuba diver (PADI cert), sharks are just sea puppers. Some puppers are more violent than others. Hyenas and wolfs are puppers too after all.
If humans are around sharks a lot, like in the Bahamas, the start begging for scraps by nosing you and giving what can oly be called underwater puppy eyes. They are cute, and very mopy when told no with a (sound) buzzer.
Sharks are actually pretty safe bc theyre not interested in attacking humans they mainly eat fish

Sharks are surprisingly intelligent when not on a hunger induced rampage. They like pets and cuddles from divers and can remember the smell of specific divers they like. However, their primal instinct is to feed and can spontaneously attack at any moment.

I remember my art teacher in high school said that anime is fine but to not limit myself to only doing that. Then I went to a college and did a life drawing class (yes the one where there’s a person in their Birthday suit you draw from) and the reason for that is if you know the rules for drawing realistically you can then more easily bend those rules how you like for your own style.
Learning the classics is important for any art. Just ask metalheads.

Heck, drawing in cartoony art styles IN GENERAL, not just anime, are pretty profitable! Granted, anime is more popular than others, but if you can draw, and have a decent portfolio or even just examples of your work online, there will be people who may want to commission you if you announce that you’re opening commissions! Now wanting to do something and actually being ABLE to do something are two different things, and unfortunately Artist related freelance work is very very difficult, and even for anime art styles, it’s not easy to find/convince people to even look at your art, let alone pay for it! BUT…while chances may be slim…they are NEVER ZERO!!!
Keep drawing, my fellow artists! And never give up on your dreams! (But don’t get too invested in your art, as mental health and self care and hygiene and stuff is just as, if not, more important!)

(Had a customer who is an art teacher, telling me that she buys in to studies that conclude that it reduces overall IQ and destroys a persons creativity. I also had a coworker that tried to play the "Anime is cartoons and cartoons are for children" card. Hit him with anime obviously intended for adults and many western adult "cartoons" like family guy and south park. He admitted that not all animated works were for kids, but basically said that because he really believes that no one should watch anime.)

I noticed one of those artworks was Mia from Monster Musume drawn in a really beautiful Fan Art and attention to detail of her scales on her Lamia tail.
