Hi Sugar Fur! Apologies for the delay! The Stokke Xplory chassis is made of strong metal, and some of the fittings (axle etc) are made from sturdy plastic. We usually recommend the Xplory up to around 3 years, but it depends on the size/weight of the child. Thanks! Pramworld.
