Joel isn't under rated, don't equate hate and negativity with under rated. No one thinks he's not one of the best players in the league, they think there's issues there that get him the hate, like flopping/foul baiting and the fact he doesn't do well in playoffs and gets injured a lot, none of that makes him underrated, he's still an unstoppable beast during the regular season and no one will say he isn't

RJ Barrett is the Raptors most underrated player. 60% on 2’s and 42% on 3’s in 27 games since he’s been traded. He completely changed his shot selection compared to his NY days. RJ will make an All-Star appearance in a Raptors jerseys at some point

Being underrated means you're not getting as much credit in the media and among the fans as you should, for the accomplishments you're making. Adebayo is widely regarded as the Heat's best, most consistent player. Brook Lopez is the number three option, as is Aaron Gordon. Kuminga has been insanely hyped over the last two months. Not sure what world you're living in.

MAN everyone in media defends him EVERY YEAR, blames his team for his shortcomings. chokes every year. he doesnt get hate, he gets FACTS against him. he chokes every year for like 6 years man, he is not underrated at all.. he empties his tank in regular season so he wins awards and then chokes in playoff. Dude needs to reshape his game, play less minutes, shoot less shot so he makes it to playoff and then he can go off, he has the talent but without his trash minutes scoring he doesnt win MVP and he cares about it.
He prob has something in his contract that incentivizes dominating the regular season. He should truly get wemby minutes 28 or less in reg season and go for 35 - 40 mins in post season

The issue with Player ratings is that it is heavily based on performance and utilization instead of capablities, performance, and utilizations. Joel Embiid's injury will drastically affect and bring down his utilization along with performance and efficiency, but we all know what his capabilities are which is what ratings are suppose to high based on.. Take NBA2k, ratings are exactly that, performance and utilization, and the game strives to mimic real life,but it is a game simulation, if you take away certain aspect such as real life availability and injury and just stick to capability, talent, in game IQ, and real life stamina, it would be a more fun game. Joel Embiid should still be rated a 90+ player until he is fully healed and should be re-evaluated after. if he is unable to go back to his former self after fully healed then a more accurate rating should be applied. This is my objective opinion, and I am not even a Joel Embiid fan as I despise him, and am a Joker fan.

The guy never had won two playoffs series in a row and played at an all star level at best in the postseason while being treated as an all time great for playing 60 regular games each season.
The guy is just a weaker version of Harden, great foulbaiter in regular season but disappeared in postseason when refs will not inflated his stats and he had to deserve his points.
In fact, Embiid is an overrated player whoo's inarguably a top 10 player but never a top 5 player (good players showed up in regular season and great players showed up in postseason).
