- Maternal death rates among Black women have more than doubled in the last 20 years.
The black maternal health crisis is characterized by disproportionately high rates of maternal mortality and morbidity among Black women compared to their White counterparts, regardless of income, education level, or access to healthcare. And, more broadly, the chronic disease epidemic impacts Black communities more than any groups of Americans.
Addressing this crisis isn’t just a matter of life and death. It demands we address deep-rooted racial disparities and work toward a more equitable healthcare system.
We can. And we must.

The community needs its fathers back
All children need their fathers.
The community can raise fine young fathers to be when they get to thrive like other communities. Though, I see a lot of fatherless kids that I grew up around. And the population is mostly white and Hispanic in this area. Some communities need more help than others.

He gets it. He really gets how poverty is systemic if fundamental elements aren’t tackled. If we’d had a President with this level of understanding and ideas in recent decades there wouldn’t be calls for repetitions. Repetitions aren’t the solution, this kind of action is.

"Poverty empowers more poverty", RFK JR is speaking the truth. Too many people do not understand the countless ways that it is more expensive to be poor than it is to be middle or upper class. I did a study on gardasil a few years ago and found that its most common side effect is premature ovarian failure. Hence the rush to administer to younger and younger girls. Though I sensed a connection I wasn't actually aware at the time of the reason behind it which has been exposed in the last few years: profound fear among some in the billionaire donor class about over population.

Please can you also consider raising awareness of the poor infant mortality rate which is worse than Cuba by CIA analysis, and about 2.5 times higher for black people. I think it is appalling this is never raised in elections. What do you think.
I would try and contact Angela Stanton King. It might be something she is already aware of. As for this video, I think I watched it awhile back. I've watched several on the Blacks for Kennedy channel. Angela is great!

@@JessJoanne do feel free to check my facts for infant mortality. I researched it 4 years ago so they may have changed slightly, but I expect they are fundamentally the same. The CIA gives the ranking of world infant mortality ratings and the high number of black infant mortality was generally reported in reputable news papers and sources. I am amazed it is never raised as a topic

I'm sorry to say this, but it's time to discuss medicare for all, something completely absent from this election. And community college to reeducate the workforce. Discuss the way this is paid. if you notice, neither Biden nor Trump will talk about this issue.
Unfortunately, No one from the campaign responds to any of the obvious topics still unaddressed, that would seem to be aligned with his message. The responses and posts for most part are all generic mantras that are easy for large groups of people to remember and repeat like parakeets to others. Are they reading these at least? Probably not. Just the numbers. As one sided as the conversation with most political figures has always been. I guess we are just supposed to find solace in someone saying a few things the rest of us have been talking about for decades. That literally is “The glimmer” of something better.

RFK has talked about all those things. If you get people healthy and stop Pharmaceutical capture it's a big part of reducing costs. The third largest killer of Americans is medical care. He also discusses returning education in trades back into schools, etc

Teaching kids trades in school is a fine thing. One should know how to work on a vehicle or how to build.
If actual tradesman/ craftsman, were paid what they were worth. There wouldn’t be a “need” for manpower doing monotonous labor. As much work as we can get done collectively and individually. Pay us what we are worth and there’s no extensive need for man power. It’d be asses and elbows. But we’ve never had a champion, only ever our ears tickled. Union and non union. Going to take more than what’s being said to gain these groups attention. Sending us apprentices is fine. But not exactly what we need.
@@WildBranch3 All I know is that my family in NJ and my friends in TX are unable to hire a handyman or seasoned craftsman. They are happy to pay what they are worth. I have an uncle who built his entire home and taught his sons, and that wasn’t even his profession (fisherman), aside from raising a few livestock. Those are things I admire. I’d like to see those skills become important again.
