Vidya, I was in kerala for Diwali vacation. Missed ur videos as I was very busy thr. Bk to mumbai today. Belated Diwali wishes. Now.I will watch ur videos.
Hi, hope you doing good♥️ I love your content, it’s unique when compared to other Malayalam channels. Actually I was waiting for the saree videos particularly bcoz I love clothing. When you were talking about Khun Sarees just remembered something which I learned from a chikan shop a few years back in Bangalore. The shopkeeper showed me the difference between handmade & machine-made chikankari; to see the knots and loose threads at the backside; that only handmade will have loose threads, knots & shadow stitch, and the cost of handloom was based on it’s perfection that it takes days to finish one.
Ethra veriety sarees anu. Enikk ellam ishtamayi. Loved the saree you are wearing. I have to tell you, your saree selections and accessories are extremely classy....
Loved all the sarees. Would be very helpful if you could share where you got the sarees from 🥰🥰 Seriously I really don’t understand how you managed to get all the information about the sarees and fabric !! Very nice 😊
Good presentation, oru cheriya karyam enikkariyunnathu parayam, ie. Kashida and Kasuty work is different, Kasuty enmbroidery is of Karnataka where as Kasidakari is associated with Kashmir, Bihar, Punjab and Himachal
Thank you Suni. Whenever I'm 100% happy with the source I share like in the first video. 3 of these I bought from the same seller. Not too happy as the colors were different from what was on the online pic.
@@WhatsUrHomeStoryMalayalam I have read your blog, amazing 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 photos are HD clarity, and stories are well interesting.., you started it in 2012 😱
Vidya, Really nice. Was waiting for these series. I think it will interesting if you could include price range and also from you purchased it. That was only a suggestion becoz seeing your videos I too got interested in the tale of sarees. So curious to hear all the names and history of those arts. Really appreciable effort and valuable content👍
Thanks a lot Seema. I try to include sources where I'm 100% happy with the source like in the first video. This one frankly I'm not as the colors of the sarees looked different in the pics I saw with the seller online (3 of the sarees came from the same guy). Hence didn't disclose. Though generally I don't buy expensive sarees I feel like sharing the price, might attract unwanted criticism on how much I spend etc.
Beautiful sarees. Informative video. Watching your videos inspire us to look into learning about the clothing before buying them randomly. Awesome job Vidya
Loved the warli art saree u r wearing?
Could you share me the details from where you bought that?
Thank you Saritha. Bought it many years back either from Seematty or Jayalakshmi silks
