- Lt. Col (Rtd) Erastus Kinyua was the man selected by the Kenya Air Force alongside four other military personnel from the Kenya Army to go to Uganda in the year 2004 to help start Uganda Defense staff college. The facility was for training senior commanders in the Uganda People’s Defense Force, including the army, the Air Force, and Special Forces.
