It took me three attempts to get it from 3 different directions. But another two down. It is certainly beautiful up there and another fantastic hike. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed it.
@chrisbentleywalkingandrambling Thanks Chris. It made life difficult in the fog with no navigation. Bloody long way back to the car. Think this one is going to be a pain to get. Who chose these hills 👀 🤔 😳
i actually like misty days like this..shame about Abney moor/ Durham edge...i gave up Ethels here as they are a waste of time , so many on private land.....good to see you back out mate.
Yes mate there is something atmospheric about days like these. I understand what you mean about the Ethel's. Some of them are just a spot on a featureless hill.
All that fog. I need to test my fitness as well, it's been awhile since my last hike. Even with the fog, you got some beautiful shots. An hour in & lost the mike buffer, I would have went back a little but not no hour 😂 I enjoy hiking to balds for the views but you didn't have the 360 view. But then again it was 9:30
Hi Bextasy, to be honest, I did retrace my steps to the place I thought it might have dropped the muffler off. And to tell you the truth, I sometimes find the foggy mornings to be very atmospheric and magical, as I did this time around. I was thinking not to do this Vlog because of the Fog, but i am glad I did. Many thanks for the comment and you support.
about time you was back at it matey 😂😂nice to see you had some of my weather for a change 🤣 shame you did,nt get the 3rd ethel as you had the right weather to get to the trig without getting seen . but 2 more done u,ll soon be in the 95 club lol👌👍
Thanks Steve, it was great being back out on the Peaks. Yep, with the fog, l would have easily gotten to the last one without being seen. But the loss of navigation buggered me.
@@oldbaldmansadventures shame about navigation as for the if the airfield is running all the people running the flights are all next to the fence witch is about 60 feet away from the trig
Hi Phil, Thank mate. I've just had a look at your great work, fantastic. Subscribed to your channel as well. I'm often in the Lakes bagging the Wainwright's, but don't Vlog those ones. I'm going to enjoy watching your walks. 👍
Thanks Sarah, Yes, lesson learnt. 😊
Thank you for sharing these adventurous clips! Keep up the hard work.
Many thanks Shailendra, enjoyed being back out in the Peak District.
