Please note if a Damp Proof Course is required then how to do this also before placing mortar on dry concrete or blocks (including rendering) you should lightly wet the blocks with a paint brush and water to prevent flash set on the mortar joint especially in warm climates

You are doing amazing job but failing two step ,after every 4 courses you need to put a vertical rebar .you are missing that .
Still you need to fix a fiber mesh on whole wall before plastering to avoid cracks .i don't know why you are avoiding this two important parts ..
Can you explain why ?
