I can only speak for myself, but I gave this video a thumbs up for the quality of instruction. It has thumbs down because it is on RUclips .... I once saw the most touching video of a family overcoming grief and pain and it had hundreds of thumbs down. People may have thumbed it down because they don't like the song or your hat. No need to read into it at all.

Justin, I always wondered if you intentionally said funny, euphemisms like "The G that I F," or if it just came out as you are focused on instructing. Interesting to know it is the latter, but do you usually know in the instant you say something like that that it was funny, or do you see it as you edit the video more often? Either way, those are reasons to keep singing on these videos!
I just got done telling my fiancée how he reminds me of my old guitar teacher from back in the day with how he sings the song with just a few lyrics and chord names and he always added in little humorous thing like that too 😜
