To: Patrick's Rare Books: Hello. I just found your channel tonight. Watched the bowed shelfs video and the "Splay" video (( I never knew that was a word???)) and putting books on the shelf by the front edge touching the back wall shelf instead of evenly spines aligned. I subscribed. I have probably 500+ titles. Hardbacks and paperbacks. Bibles and Biblical reference books, Biblical language books, comparative theology titles, 3 encyclopedia sets, and some "how-to" books and several firearms / ammo/ hunting books, plus some history, and a few Louis L'Amour titles, Shakespeare, World Atlas, and some military history titles, 2 American-English dictionaries and a Thesaurus. Of all of those I think the most valuable, necessary books (grab it if the building is on fire) is my Thompson Chain K.J.V. Reference Bible, my Noah Webster original dictionary, 1928 Book of Common Prayer, and my 1941 Lutheran Service Hymnal. If someone "freaks out" or gets the heemee-jeemies about you having a Bible on the shelf, or in a video... In my experience of 45 years as a Christian, most of it spent in the heathen / pervert land of southern California,,, (including working in two Christian Bible & Book stores) that person is probably a follower of the Devil or is on drugs or is a pervert or a Marxist. Rejoice that the devil is not happy!
