You should play more of this. I have some tips on how to get a skin. (metal sonic) You need to: beat metal sonic 3 times, collect 50K mysterious orbs (the purple orb things in the race) and beat the race in under 130 (it might be 120) seconds. (Also the balloons can give you a lot of orbs) Also, if you go next to the thing where metal sonic is in his electric ball, it’ll show your progress. Once you finish one of these tasks, you’ll get a chao. After finishing all of the tasks, you’ll get the grand prize, the metal sonic skin.
You can find cards of Tails and Knuckles like you did with Sonic. Also race more with Metal Sonic to collect purple orbs on the level so you can unlock Metal Sonic and Metal Sonic 3.0.

In Lost Valley, you can find Tails and Knuckles is in Emerald hill! A way to get alot of EXP is doing the Temporary Tails Assult Event where you fly the Tornado and shoot Sky Badniks and enter EXP hoops, you can also unlock Tails' Outfit from Sonic OVA and the Tornado itself!
You need to play this game again! You barely scratched the surface. There are a billion different characters , there's a plane minigame, you haven't even touched the best world in the game, hill top zone, and this game updates weekly!

Hey Darby! If you want to get tails and knuckles, you'll need worlds 2 and 3. tails is in world 2 on top of a short wooden pillar. Knuckles is in world 3 and past the swirly thing!
I have Lego Sonic. That looks more like a box costume IMO. I'd recommend Lego Sonic to play but, since it's a part of Lego Dimensions, it might be a bit expensive? I definitely wouldn't recommend 100% it considering you'd need to spend more money on characters you probably don't care for. Or waste time collecting studs to hire the required characters, and you wouldn't have the stud multipliers or the thing that slows down the roulette bricks which makes getting purple so much easier. I really don't recommend Lego Dimensions unless you're interested in it. It's fun but tedious in an expensive way.
Never expected you to play this game. It's cool. Also I found a mod for a fangame called Sonic 3 A.I.R. where... you guessed it OMOCHAO is remade into the game. So it's just like the ROM hack you played, but in Sonic 3 AIR. Rings, badniks, monitors, (and their effects). And 1 more thing if you want to get metal you can go to the metal madness event if u go to the portal you can see metal sonic and metal sonic 3.0 if you go near it you can see some quest basically like the big the cat event but more fun!
