I made your skandi ornaments last year for fun and gave them to my friends for their tree. They loved them even though they weren’t as perfect as yours. I see a lot of channels pouring acrylic & glitter into those plastic style ornaments but I prefer your style. Maybe a thrifted mug tree would be good to hand your ornaments to dry. Shayda, don’t’ ever stop creating. You are very talented and gifted and your followers love your videos.

Cute ornaments! I love your positive attitude so much! "It's a flower if I say it's a flower" I enjoyed this format. Like we're just casually hanging out with you while you paint.

4 minutes in and I just wanted to say I NEVER thought to use the cap of paints as a little tray!! What a genius idea!

Oh, Shayda...I have been disconnected for a while and wow did I forget how much I LOVE you. Thank you for allowing the imperfections. I was raised with "if it's not perfect, it's not worth doing". Talk about a creativity killer, but at the same time very detailed has been much practiced. So many things look so fun, but the fear of being perfect prevents me often and when I watch you I am SO inspired to just create and enjoy the process of perfectly imperfect. It is so true pretty much EVERYTHING you talk about. And when you go to the store and really critique what is for sale, it is NOT perfect either and other people love getting handmade gifts. Thank you Shayda...TRULY.

It is hard to embrace, but so helpful for getting out of your comfort zone and trying new things too :) I have been trying to challenge myself this year with new mediums and subjects

These are so pretty! Yes I’ve seen the copying but haven’t seen the drama. My mouth dropped open with some of the copying of really unique designs, but it was on IG copying a Skillshare design to the tee, turning it into a class and charging. Now I want to know who is a known copyer. 🙈🤣😂

Shayda, I love painting in this way, so quiet and soothing so I'm all for that, I also love the color pallet. You are so sweet and humble and keeping it real.

Whether whatever project you're working on is my thing or not, the process is always perfectly enjoyable--and that's the whole point, right? Love your videos. Thanks, Shayda!

Your ornaments are SO lovely. What a beautiful collection to hang on a tree! From a couple feet away all those little "oopsies" (if we are even going to call them that) disappear and all you see is a very elegant overall look. Just look at the ornaments on they tray in the foreground. They are gorgeous! I adore these. Love this chatty video.

Should we add a matte or satin varnish so the finish stays smooth? What would you recommend? I ask bc I have ornaments that are more than 50 years old. I'd like them to last and stay vibrant
