Hello there quick question, say i have a check list where there are ten lines, sometimes only 8 out of ten lines will be filled in but all lines will have check boxes how to i calculate the correct % based on the data i have filled in? eg. say im doing a cleaning check list for monday. my page includes ten options to write a cleaning task, with checkmarks beside each, I however only write in 8 tasks and complete them all - my % complete is still only showing 80%
=COUNTIFS(A1:A10,"" ,B1:B10, TRUE) This formula counts the checkboxes in column B where column A is not blank. It should give you the count you’re looking for. Let me know if you need anything else! 😊
wow thanks a million for the quick reply, what if the column that needs to be filled out (column A in your example) is a merge of multiple coloums. Eg in mine the check is in column B and the ________ to fill it out is made up of columns c through I@@spreadsheetables
Great video. However, in the android version of Google sheets the value in the center of the donut chart chart is not shown. I double-checked my chart editor settings and everything was correct. Is this happening to anyone else?
@@spreadsheetables Hi, yes, I did. In the web version everything works fine, unlike in android Google sheets app. It could be a bug within the app, I'm not sure. Does it work for you?

@@spreadsheetables Hi,
yes, I did. In the web version everything works fine, unlike in android Google sheets app.
