That's what I said (dig the Spirograph out). I had one when I was little, and bought one for the kids when they were little. Lots a holes in those wheels and whatever (I think even geared sticks for those gears to around..) Made me want to dig the kid's out though..) 😂
I say, "GO 4 IT!" LMAO I used 2 have a Spirograph set, back in the 1980s, but lost all the parts in the intervening years, ESPECIALLY after moving house in 1991
I have been watching Tim for almost 10 years now and he hasn't aged a single year. So anyone who worries about the age, I think the toys have made him Immortal.
Got a felt pen spinning top from the dentist as a child… only I never knew to uncap the pen!! I just enjoyed the decent spinning top for a year or more before I even realized it came apart. By the time I got to try the (admittedly cheap) marker pen, it was half-dried and barely marked under he weight of itself.
I can imagine young children being spellbound by Tim and whatever collection of toys etc he takes along to their parties. This guy is a National treasure.
I believe there is a video somewhere on RUclips where someone interviews Tim and gets a tour of some of it. I can't remember where I saw it though because I don't think it was this channel
Everytime I see a notification with Tim in the frame I stop watching what I am watching and switch to him. Doesn't matter if I'm watching Mr. Beast, Casey Neistat, Linus Tech Tips (and etc), I always prioritize Grand Illusions.
the machine with different slots is amazing, i think the one thing it could have to be a bit more usable is a bit of rubber inside the pen slot so that the pens don't shake so violently still, gorgeous drawings
I introduced my 2 year old daughter to Tim’s videos the other day. This child who can’t sit still became mesmerized, rubbed her eyes and said “makes me so sleepy.” lol I also watch Tim for the ASMR/sleep-inducing effect. Maybe it’s genetic 😂
Oh my goodness, I had a set of those spinning tops and also the cyclograph (it's a varient on the spirograph designed for slightly younger kids or those with slightly less dexterity to hold all the separate pieces that the spirograph has)
The electric box that draws spirals uses the same base concept as the "snake wrestling" toy you've shown a couple of times. I wonder what other permutations there could be of this idea?
His name was Denys Fisher, and Denys Fisher Toys was the name of one of his companies, here in the UK. Towards the end of the video, Tim accidentally says Fisher-Price at one point, which is an American company, founded in the 1930s. No connection.
These are simple toys that bring joy to many.
The pen spinning top makes mathematical beauty.
It's making a self-portrait!
we need to invent immortality right now
if anyone's worthy it's definitely tim
Immortality already exists we either live forever in heaven or hell
@@jonpendragon2066 well that's just like, your opinion, man
Bold of you to assume that tim is able to die.
@@jonpendragon2066They meant immortality for bodies.
Makes me want to get my Spirograph out and play.

Love your videos Tim, please continue making them

Just saw Tim's Acting Streak starring in the film One Life! Who knew he was such a great actor, huh :}

Wait, did you know that there's a direct correlation between the decline of Spirograph and the rise in gang activity? Think about it.
There's also a direct correlation between violent crime and ice cream sales.
Correlation does not imply causation.
It's a quote from a classic episode of The Simpsons, "Radioactive Man".
@@outlandishusername I'm most familiar with Steamed Hams.
I will.

exactly what he did and why he lasted 30-50 years before retiring
i miss you, i always remember you
Toys that aer simple, yet ingenious! Marvellous Tim!
Tim and his collection are an international treasure.
That last one is definitely something I would pick when shopping for a gift for one of my nieces.
Glad to see your still making videos
I would love a tour of where you keep your amazing collection ❤

Here is the video that the BBC made, when they came to visit Grand Illusions - ruclips.net/video/PrSYERaTq_8/видео.html
The genuine joy this man brings is unmatched
These remind me of Spirograph, which is, if memory serves, another Fisher Price invention. I do like toys such as these. Nice one Tim! 🌟👍
motorized spurigraph
Tim makes me want to dig out the spirograph on this one.
Goodness knows how many holes are involved on all those wheels and things 😂
Fantastic video as always, Tim. Wonderful collection of toys!
@2:02 WOW that's a monster-sized battery!
they’re rarely used outside of heavy flashlights/torches and older electronics like that…

Fascinating 😊

still, gorgeous drawings
I still have a Spirograph set from when I was a kid
I still have the last one from decades ago, when my kids were young. They used Biro/Ballpoint style pens when using it, if I remember correctly.🤔😊
This Brings back memories of an item called Spirograph, had hours of fun with that.
Like an automatic Spirograph! How nice for people with fine motor trouble or strength issues!
It's toys like these that inspires the wonder at how the world works. It's science and art neatly rolled in one

My kid is 6 and is still excited to watch the grandpa playing with toys
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂🤣😂
That ink top is brilliant
Love your videos!
wonderful showcase! I remember being so fixated on the patterns I could make as a kid!
I can spent hours with these toys. They are all new to me.
Wow. I would've loved to have something like this when I was young. Most of the art supplies I have nowadays are really basic.
I had spirals as a kid!! Never seen anyone else talk about them lol
Who doesnt like a bit of Tim for a saturday evening
Great!!
Those trajectories are like mathematical functions😮
Oh my goodness, I had a set of those spinning tops and also the cyclograph (it's a varient on the spirograph designed for slightly younger kids or those with slightly less dexterity to hold all the separate pieces that the spirograph has)
I have the last one including the box. I keep ot in my after school club now, but the children havent discovered it yet.
I had a bunch of those marker tipped tops as a kid, tons of fun!
I gotta say these intros are getting better and better

What a great man!
amazing drawing devices
Grandy Nice 💙💙
Que genial

I have those too.
Wait no, the title says says ARTistic streak.
Can I just say one thing? Apple with a Hat. Thats all
The spirograph works better with a ball pen.
Spirograph anyone? 🌀

@@grandillusions haha, I thought it was surprising! I'm British and had plenty of spirograph toys growing up. Thanks for clarifying. Love the channel.
The camera person needs to hand Tim a hair comb before they shoot the video.
next 2029, you died of old age
Do not like the tech-y intro sequence with piercing musical sounds. Love the channel though!
Is it just me, or is that top making a nipple shape?
