One of the most strong scenes in the history is when Armstrong stands on the moon and delivers his daughter's bracelet in it. He made the ubeleivalble, the longest and the most difficult trip, but in his heart was the loss of his daughter. Unbelievable feeling. So much pain ! No way to fight it back. That's why we have to give our love to our kids, to stay with them as more as we can. Making us better as humans. Making our childs better too.

This movie was outstanding. I grew up outside of Edwards AFB in the 70s not far from Niel’s cabin in Juniper Hills. The soundtrack is amazing as well. When I was a boy my father brought me in to meet with David Scott the first man to drive the rover on the moon (Apollo 15). Dad said I had dozens of questions in mind but completely froze up when in front of Dr. Scott. These men were hero’s in the truest sense of the word and I like how the movie brings out so much of their sacrifice. They succeeded against impossible odds.

The first time I saw this movie during the final crater scene, where he trows the bracelet, I though about my father who left us at age of 46. I had just turned to 24 and now that I am 40 still have his watch. It doesn't work anymore but I can't rid of it. Since he left, I can't cry in front of anyone. That's why I think this movie was inspired by the deep pain of the human being. Difficult to explay, premature pain. This pain never leave you. It's like a boulder. One can only cry in the dark..on the moon or in a dark cinema hall..

The most amazing scene in this film is the Gemini 8 scene where Niel gets onto the capsule of a spacecraft for the first time to launch. The way they portray the primitive spacecraft is nerve tingling because you feel you are Niel and you are about to shoot up into space.
The spacecraft itself is essentially a tin can that does not fill you with confidence but that is precisely what makes it remarkable.
That entire mission was something that the future of humanity was depending on a tin can of hand made sheet metal and a computer as powerful as a calculator.

What an amazing movie, makes me cry a lot because of his daughter and his personal goal. This man is a true hero, the greatest of mankind and it's make me so sad to watch where we are now, never returned on the moon, never go forward to explore like this pionier.
Most underated movie of 2018 for sure, a Masterpiece !!!!!

@@stevenneill6605you can’t call Shawshank’s Redemption a masterpiece or a masterpiece candidate. Movies portraying death, cruelty, graphic horror content, is not to be a masterpiece. Sorry, but graphic death movies are good or very good movies, but never a masterpiece 🤷🏻‍♂️.

It’s a phenomenal epic docu-drama! I don’t understand how this film didn’t get on the radar of the Academy of Motion Pictures Industry!
The NASA sequences of Gemini and Apollo are absolutely breathtaking. And the acting is superb!! Ryan becomes Neil Armstrong. And the soundtrack by Justin is hauntingly beautiful!
Especially the launch and lunar landing. Maybe I’m abit bias due to my passion for space exploration. But even the novice of the history of Americans Space Program and race with the USSR to the moon would appreciate this film !!!
I give it every rotten tomato!!

The movie was beyond amazing! After watching, the movie became one of my favorite movies along with Interstellar. Something about humanity finally being able to successfully land on the moon after everything the first few astronauts went through and what Neil Armstrong had to go through felt super emotional. It literally had me in tears. That’s when I knew, that in a weird way this was not only one of the most important parts of history. But one of the most amazing things ever accomplished and it’s all thanks to Neil Armstrong and NASA.
