I loved how understated yet emotionally powerful the soundtrack was. It somehow perfectly captured the feelings of determination and melancholy Armstrong must have felt.
Armstrong, being a private individual was a tough egg to crack I think. Hansen did a great job cracking that egg in his biography about the "first man."
Black Panther was also good, but I agree that Justin Hurwitz's soundtrack is stunning and sublime. This film and soundtrack will stand the test of time.
At the beginning, i opened description while video played first one, and when i saw title, "Karen", all emotions since first time i've watched movie came back
Just in this time I'm watching this wonderful realistic illustration cinematographic of that great strong man.....so by his determination courage he has open a big space gates for the humanity....like he said " this is a little paths for me ...but a big one for the humanity...".....thanks.

So much film music is background noise, a bed of sound that exists purely to punch up moments in the movie--which is, of course, its primary purpose. But this score is also MUSIC. Haven't seen the movie or heard any of this other scores, but this is a beautiful listen on its own. Sad that this is rare in this time of smashing synth percussion and 'hits.'
Yes. that "oowooh" instrument was a very nice touch, I loved how they eliminated its stereotype of aliens and conspiracy. According to the trivia on the amazon purchase, Neil's family said he was fond of it, so Justin had it put into the score.
