I don’t know I think you may be able to put a 200 on a 518 now but from my understanding when I bought mine the C model was the Comanche version no hull difference but different restrictions. That’s why I went to the C same boat but can get 68 instead of mid 50s for top speed

Also I don't have the Merck motor I have the E-Tech Evinrude , Do you have a preference over one over the other Which in your opinion is the better of the two? Also that was a great walkthrough or walk around on that boat I happen to love my boat It's awesome machine

I'm 5 ft 9 and would be fishing tournaments in Arizona mostly by myself and was wondering what's the difference between those 18 and 19 Cup. If you have any info I would appreciate it.
If you’re buying new the 519 cup is a better deal now because you get all the upgrades for cheaper then it would be to option up the 518 to the Same level and get a bigger boat!

Looking at a 2023 z518 cup package with the 200 mercury. Says 97 beam. How roomy do you think this boat would be. And how fast. And would you recommend this boat. I would love to get a 20ft but don’t want to be boat poor.

The tandem is an option and I just went mercury because they didn’t make evinrude anymore when I got mine!

How is the overall performance of the hull on the 518? I know ranger does not make the fastest hull, but how does it do in rough water?
It is excellent in rough water! It’s only an 18 foot boat and performs like a 20 in rough water!
