Great Work thank you bru
thanks for the info
hi Bren, glad to hear they have fixed some things, but again they incorporate bloatware like that China thing that home users will never use
they should more focus on the security risc that secure boot now has, they encrypt your drive (without the users consent) but
there is a secure boot bug they have'nt adressed, about all their extra apps, they should make it a seperate install (from microsoft store)
like if you want copilot, then you simply install it via their store, that way, home users that dont use this app are not bothered with it
i also use more powerful apps for pictures, DTP, and video, so i dont use their limited built in apps for these things
thanx for the info Bren, cheers mate
Installed this update and not getting any of the features listed in the video.
me too
lol same here
Just figured it out. Go to advanced options and change your active hours to manual and set the time (Max 18 hours). Turns out there were more updates after it. By the time I was done with the first one I wasn't in active hour so Windows wont download updates if you are not in active hour. Weird
Same here 😮
also a toggle for the ribbon in explorer why arent these features enabled
I want to know how do you fix the Explore.exe- application error “the memory could not be written, click on ok to terminate program” sorry I couldn’t write the rest of the pop up but every time I shut my computer down and I make sure everything it’s close and nothing it’s running in the background. I get that message but everything seems to work alright even after I turn it on
Yep the white bangs an the ribbon loading slower than the rest have been that way for 6 months now. Just ridiculous. Dunno if this happens to others but on my windows 11 i noticed about once a week either the Explorer process, or the desk top window manger will be using twice as much memory as the browser. you can just restart the explorer to fix explorer but the window manager can only be fixed by restarting the entire computer. Dunno if that's a sign of a memory leak or just a hung process.
@Cole_Zulkowski I ain't got no 200 process'es running though. maybe there's some new privacy invading thing in the background doing it that microsoft didn't bother to tell us they added.
it would be nice to feature a slim taskbar toggle the community wants it....and not using 3rd party tools also some taskbar features people might not use
Hi i just updated to this and now my laptop keeps on restarting. I just decided to turn it off and open later on. What to do if still keeps on restarting?
Try uninstalling the update.
I clicked uninstall. And it says uninstalled. But it shows as installed
como colocaste el drive en mi pc como lo tienes
Lo hace con la aplicación Google Drive For Desktop.
Win 11 Home 23H2 latest build. ( not on insider channel) Updated today to KB5040527, however I cannot see "Duplicate Tab" when I right click on File Explorer Tab. I uninstalled and re-downloaded KB5040527 a second time and restarted my PC but still no "Duplicate Tab" feature. Am I missing something ? or is this update buggy ?. Would appreciate your advice. Many thanks.
As Mentioned, the features are on a controlled roll out.
@@brentech Many thanks for your reply. Ahh yes of course, now I understand.
I want to compress files to the RAR format which is not available in Windows 11 KB5040527. WinRAR is the best!!
When I install the update my co-pilot moved
