That wasn't an hold person spell, it was immovable object one of the dunomantic spells, you can notice it by the fact that Braius didn't make a save because the target was the armor
Luna is back! ❤ Huzzah! That bekng said, I'm not sure if the spell Essek used on Braius was Hold Person. Matt described it as the armor not moving, which makes me think it was the dunamancy spell that makes an object immovable. He taught that spell to Caleb back when they were still getting to know each other in C2, so he definitely knows it.
Not gonna lie, I missed the part where Ashton leaves the remaining pieces of FCG in the space of Aeor (forgive me if I misspelled). Thats just… so damn full circle, just for Braius to be like “The fuck is that?” 😂😂😂 Classic Sam, absolutely classic.
A prisoner, desperate and starving, will say anything to escape. They need only find one sucker who believes them to let them out. Predathos is an existential threat to mortals and the gods alike, and is playing Ludinus like a fiddle by telling him *exactly* what he wants to hear
Something that I posted to the show was; the reason that the betrayer gods hate the prime deities and humanity is that originally they were unrestrained possibilities. When what would become the prime deities chose to focus on humanity and be the entities they were at the time, in a quantum sense, all of the “gods” were locked in their current form. If you were trying out what it would be like to be the lord of pain and one ( or more) of your kin locked you into that form for eons. I don’t know about anyone else but, I would be quite a bit more than royally ticked.
“we don’t lord ourselves over others and wipe them clean the moment we have a second thought” says the guy who has orchestrated wars and had thousands of people murdered over the years to achieve his goals.
Love the recap!! I loved this episode, I was very delighted by the party discussion at the beginning of the episode. Felt so refreshing to put all cards on the table. After hearing this recap, I think i am more ok with the “Delilah poke-ball” idea. It just needs to be done right enough to give respect to such a known character in the CR history. Thank you for the awesome video, and have a great day Luna!
I loved how Ashton laid FCG to rest. I'm surprised no one said anything. This could have been the closure we're all still waiting for. No emotional closure except for Ashton?
It's almost a shame that we don't have more of the characters being devoted worshippers. Matt knew what the themes were and could have coordinated with the cast a little to administer a more interesting dynamic between them . I get he wanted to give them freedom to create their own characters but it's not been good for the story at large. They mostly seem indifferent to it all

Also, I want a Caleb cameo to happen in the next episode! Seeing Caleb and Essek being all domestic would be *amazing* lol
Imogen and Orym just constantly calling Ludinus out in his crap is just thr best, honestly

So proud to see my name in the list of your patrons. So appreciate all that you do.
You skipped over the best line in the episode
"Doesn't the goat know dunaprancy?"
I put it in my other video :)

The scarf sniff is everything.
Wasn’t the grand Demon Dominox tethered to the Nox Engine ( not the Occultis Thalamus ) by Aeor?
I am surprised i haven't seen any Sheepleb/Goatsek fan art
I love your recaps, I’m so happy to see them in my feed again!
So glad you're doing recaps again!
Dude orym has soooooo much weight on his shoulders fml. Liam was born for this lol
20:03 it was immovable object on his armor right ? Also, I very much love the season so far in all of your content.
@doomyablackheart1406 yep definitely don't think it was hold person
Engagement for the engagement god!
Still just happy you are here L !!! :D

If they succeed in trapping Delilah in the soul stone and powering laudna, does that effectively make Laudna an immortal litch?
I adore this channel and the fans
Background kitty!
Rad recap Luna thank you!
Hopefully this leads to the solution of the Delilah problem

My theory is Chet is one of the gods and a future big bad depending on events. Luda tried to kill the party by unleashing Delilah and ghosting.
Did anyone catch what Sam's shirt says? I can make out a picture of FCG I think...
hopefully delilah is gone for good now
