    I'm inlove with hyperburst technology. It's one of the centuries greatest discovery. I have painful foot due to fibroma, wearing my first shoes with hyperburst soles made me teary-eyed. Yeah it may sound I'm overreacting but no one knows how I suffer before whenever I step on my left foot working in a busy hospital ward. My productivity was affected because I tend to walk and move slowly due to pain. Thank you Mr. Kurt Stockbridge for bringing this technology to us.......

    Yeah his voice makes you want to listen...it's soothiing one might say. But the business is the material and as a third generation shoe retailer I've seen a lot of mid-soles that are made of EVA, PU, and even air that is pressurized , air that isn't pressurized until strike and moves in a tunnel (anyone remember DMX by Reebok), and even mechanical cantilevered V-shaped heel strike zones (the original AVIA patent). All of this seeking to absorb and dissipate shock, provide various degrees of stability, and return measured amounts of energy. Nothing has impressed me more than HyperBurst. It's kind of like the grail of maximum cushioning with great energy return and needed resilence (snaps back) for good stability while being the lightest material so far developed. The thickness and drop can be varied for different responses in various profiles for different runners. I like the explanation here as it keeps it rather simple even though it required some great science along with trial and error iterations to mature the production of mid-sole blockers in the many sizes and shapes being used. This is technology that gives break-throughs in so many areas all in one mid-sole.

    I sell footwear and I wear Skechers HyperBurst running and walking shoes by choice. It has a great degree of cushioning that you feel instantly and almost ironically it springs back to it's original shape from compression returning energy and resisting permanent compression which is responsible for longer lasting optimum stability in a very lightweight shoe, a combination that is quite rare. I'm going to be frank here, the only area that needs some refining and improvement is the bonded thin, but tough, rubber outsole. I've had two pairs where the heel strike Goodyear sole wear areas have started to delaminate from the HyperBurst midsole layer. It is usually after quite a few miles so it's not a deal killer, but it can be improved, I believe, in this aspect.

    I now have the Razor 3, the GoRun 7+, the Forza 4, and the Max Road 4 all with the hyperburst technology. This new technology is great!!! I am going to study this video so I can explain it too others. No one in my running club wears Skechers but me. The prejudice continues. For the 1st time EVER, I found a local running store that at least carries the Razor line but nothing else. I have a major complaint of the Skecher retail outlets. They have huge and wonderful selection of all of their shoes EXCEPT the GoRun line. Incredible! Their own brand and they have little or nothing??? Some Skecher outlets have no GoRun's and others have very limited and old model selections. This is needs to be changed. I hope Kurt can lobby them to change this situation. I want to try on my Skechers before I buy them, not just buy them online.

    Why have they stopped making the Hyperburst? :(

  • @jonnyboat2
    @jonnyboat2 4 года назад +1

    So, does this mean that the new hyper burst midsole will compress and form troughs at the heel and forward impact portions of the footbed in less than the current six month time period for traditional eva foam midsoles? I just threw away four or five pair of shoes that looked almost new except that I couldn’t wear them anymore because of the troughs that form by compressing the eva due to wear. What a racket. Selling foam for $50, $60, $70 and up to $150 or more knowing it will be too painful for most users to wear within six months. Why don’t you people develop a conscious and start making midsoles that stand up to the wear and that don’t compress to form debilitating troughs in the footbed.

    • @over1498
      @over1498 2 года назад

      It's all foam bro, pretty much by definition it compresses. You could make a shoe with a solid block of wood for a midsole and it would never form a trough!
