Amazing. Such an unsettling theme for such a lovable and playful character. Telltale did something incredible. They took the Joker, THE Joker, and turned him into a completely different character - somebody new who, at the same time, you are very familiar with. The dark and twisted moments make sense, so does this eerie soundtrack. And we all know John and what a sweetie he is. And yet it makes sense!
I love this theme, it conveys an accurate auditory rendition of how schizophrenia affects John in particular. Everything is offbeat, the piano notes stumble into one another almost clumsily, yet the high pitch maintains it's sharp and hard edged nature. John clearly doesn't have clear control of how to convey what's going on in his mind through social interactions (the funeral scene in EP1 is a clear example of this) but he's also highly, bordering on hyper, intelligent as well, as indicated by his clear vivid love for the arts (quoting greek mythos when addressing Batman in EP3) and adept inution for technology (Knowing how to operate the Waynetech EMP with no prior experience in EP2), It's just unfortunate that despite this natural affinity for knowledge and strong passions, his only social exposure has been to criminal, unstable, and psychotic-populated environments either poorly maintained (Arkham) or completely volatile ones unchecked (The Pact). While John may be a psychotic himself, he also would've had a much better chance at a healthy life if he had exposure to the same support systems Bruce had as a child (Loving caretaker in Alfred, finances to guarantee security and henceforth a lack of additional stress).
@@ruzgaregeakgol2764 yeah i was about to say the same thing schizophrenia is like hearing voices and seeing things John has more of like extreme adhd autism and bipolarness with a side of little to no social skills outside of Bruce and Harley
I love John as a character and tried to do the best for him, but this music always reminded you that however endearing he might be there is something darker beneath the surface :).
This is just so creepy I love it. And it's also very calm compared to the other Joker themes we are used to? It's much more deranged and less grandiose and funny but it's amazing.
I am so happy someone has already uploaded this masterpiece. I gotta find music sheets of this. This fits this subtle, deranged but still apparently harmless Joker ; this could, in general, be the theme of a depraved creepy clown. Stunning.

I like this song, but I think it doesn't match the Joker in this game. I mean, it could've, if Telltale put the emphasis on his mad side, but instead we have this strange version with the not-really-Joker who is in love with Harley (wich is not a bad choice, screw you DC Inquisition) and doesn't fit with this theme. But maybe it will fit later...
ZQFMGB It does fit, the song is meant to give foreshadowing. It sounds as though something terrible is going to happen, it just hasn't yet. The player knows who John is going to become, he just hasn't turned yet. The theme builds the sense of a growing threat.
John's theme is suppose to represent his sanity being close to the edge and that if he "has a really bad day" (someone betraying him, people attack and he has to kill ect.) He may very well snap and go full joker. He goes from sad clown to pure insanity in an instant. It is fitting

Stellar analysis👌
nice analytics. you are awesome! also, john is my best friend and best buddy in the game, (Good ending vigilante)
You past English lol
He’s not suffering from schizophrenia, more like BPD,autism and DID

I really feel sorry for John he deserved so much better

If someone finds it... It's only piano and it's by luck the instrument I love and know how to play !
Charline Montial same I love this music and one day would like to include it in a movie because I plan on becoming a director
The perfect soundtrack for a man still trying to find himself.
This song totally represents the calculating nature of the Joker! So many themes failed, but this one is spot on.
I like it how John starts off so innocent as if he wouldn’t hurt a fly, but then in episode 5, he becomes a malicious villain or hero.
I remember seeing him for the first time. I knew something about this version of Joker would be special.
Especially that he’s more obsessed with Bruce than Batman really was amazing, changed the characters completely and it paid off
“Remember the first time you let me into the rec room, Dr. Leland? You had to teach me how to play checkers”.
This music kept me at the edge of my seat everytime I heard it in game
LOL! The way Bruce is looking at him😂
He’s always so confused and worried by everything John says but supports it anyway so john doesn’t freak out 🤣
"He knows all the ways to... twists my arms..."
there is an ilusion of moviment in this image. it`s so cool
What do you mean?
@@xx_isabel_the_wolf_xx3869Like, it looks sort of like it's moving if you focus, but it isn't.
What Have You've Done John ?! - Bruce
"ITS, JOKER! *laughs manicaly* "
Its so creepy
This song is so unsettling...
You And I are both Threads In the Same Stitch - John
I chose the Vigilante route in my play through because John was so likable I just couldn’t see him become a villain.
We need him in season 3
When I heard this in the game first I was like : here we gooo 😏
"I told you I'd see again didn`t I?"
This is a great theme
do you know what music is playing when vigilante Joker is sitting on a trashcan and batman is getting aid to his harmed arm ? in ch5
This theme really makes it darker as bruce works with john and becomes criminal, but he also is batman.
Very beautiful music ! It’s very goo theme for Joker, oh sorry, who is Joker ?! John Doe of course. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!
I looooooooooooooooooove the jooooooooooooker
Thank you clementine
buddy...?
I wish I could make music like that
"Bruce Buddy! Whats it been? A week? Two Weeks? Sorry i didnt call sooner... "
"I had to go a little undercover.... I gaved her everything, Even my girls of my dreams! And did u know waller did? Waller Tried to Shoot me!"

Good point.
Common Sense exactly. This isn’t joker’s theme. It’s John’s.
@@commonsense2191 I agree, the second I heard this I knew not to trust John Doe
