El tema "The obsessive Devotion" pertnece al disco de Epica "The Divine Conspiracy" del año 2007
The Divine Conspiracy (La Conspiración Divina) es el tercer álbum de estudio de la banda holandesa de metal sinfónico, Epica, el cual se lanzó el 7 de septiembre de 2007 bajo el sello discográfico Nuclear Blast.
Pre-lanzamiento y producción
El álbum cuenta con Ariën van Weesenbeek, de God Dethroned como baterista de sesión, ya que Epica aún no contaba con un nuevo baterista tras la marcha de Jeroen Simons en 2006. Además aparece una contribución del vocalista Sander Gommans de After Forever en las voces guturales.
La idea tras el disco es que Dios creó muchas religiones diferentes para la Humanidad con el fin de que ésta encontrara y superara sus diferencias superficiales, y que descubriera que su verdadera naturaleza es igual independientemente de sus creencias.
Existe una edición del álbum que contiene un Bonus CD donde contiene imágenes de la banda, dos canciones extras y 3 videos de Never Enough (TV Version, Long Version y el Making Of)

Con este pasa lo mismo que en el de Masters of Rock, el DVD de Wacken 2009 es un compilado de videos de bandas que se presentaron en vivo en ese lugar, de Epica solo salió este tema.

Es el unico tema con esta calidad, la version completa es un streaming que alguien grabo desde la pc, por eso se ve tan mal y con cortes de señal.

Así es, lo transmitieron en directo por internet y alguien grabó el streaming, por eso la mala calidad del concierto completo y el corte de transmisión en una parte del mismo, algunos anteriores al 2009 todavía se consiguen por torrent, en buena calidad el bootleg dvd "EPICA Live at Rockpalast 2007" por ejemplo...

For me this is a much higher level than Nightwish. Epica is much more heavy metal and symphonic. These are the actual metal Mozarts... They are a true 'band' not a one man project. The result of this group effort is clear. They are the highest level in sypmhonic metal. Not the biggest ... that would be Nightwish. But then again Justin Bieber is bigger than Nightwish.... Does that mean Justin is better?

Lamentablemente no existe una versión completa en esta calidad, este video pertenece a un Dvd recopilatorio de varias bandas que tocaron en el Wacken 2009, de Epica solo viene este video tal cual lo publiqué.
Yo los ví en la gira de Latinoamérica unos años antes y Simone no cantó bien 😐 😢

Hola Patyto, lamentablemente este concierto es imposible de mejorar, la única versión completa que existe es la que subió metalbibiche, yo tengo la versión original en .avi y se ve igual de mal, este video que publiqué se encuentra en el DVD "Wacken Open Air 2009" pero es el único tema de Epica que viene en el Dvd, el resto es de otras bandas.
