People really love to take the "fear of water" thing and run with it. Anyone who's watched any of the Friday the 13th series knows that Voorhees regularly interacts with water (including the lake he drowned in...) with no apparent trepidation whatsoever by stalking & killing victims on or in the water, swimming, etc. Hell, he even does this in Freddy vs. Jason in both the real world and the dream world. People just misinterpret the scene in FvJ where his "fear" is exposed without paying any sort of attention to context. Freddy -- a literal dream demon with a knack for uncovering deep-seated phobias -- was only able to exploit water as a source of fear while inside Jason's subconscious and actively fucking with his head. He did so by returning Jason to his childlike self, to a time and place in which he had a *reason* to fear water: more specifically Crystal Lake itself, when he was bullied and drowned in it. Context is crucial here. Under normal circumstances, Jason is not meaningfully hindered by water in any way, shape, or form (mentally/emotionally speaking).

I agreed and disagreed. I agreed, yes Sarah Connor lost. I disagreed, because Terminator knew where she be at. Theres no scene in Terminator movies. Where T and S talks to eachother on the phone. So i disagreed that she lost. So she won that part. Now J and S. Sara has the ok attacks towards Jason. Jason his attacks, is more realistic. So by far Jason won. Now T and J. Terminator has the best part of the scene, where he blows Jason up. Due to Jason got blown up. Terminator won.

Secondly, Jason wouldn't have stalled so long when he was choking her, or stab her in the shoulder when he had her against a tree. Jason is never creative with his kills nor does he have fun with his victims like Freddy Krueger does. He's quick and to the point. He would have snapped Sarah's neck in a second.

#1: Yes but that was kind of a stroke of luck when that coroner ate his heart. #2: No complaints, I agree. #3: She actually does. When you really think about it, the T-800 and Jason are both kind of cut from the same archetypes. They're lumbering, powerful forces of nature who will tear through anyone in their path and are extremely difficult to kill. Sarah has dealt with one of these fools before and has prepared a great deal for the possibility of facing the next one so a fight between her and Jason is actually pretty fair. #4: They mentioned that would be the expected route to go but that they thought it would be more interesting to have instead a battle between the hero and the villain and because Sarah Connor is basically a horror final girl? It allowed them to do a fun tribute to 80s slashers.
Jason hasn’t really been blown up before, he’s only been set on fire (plus, at least we actually get to see the damage it did to him, and saw that the whole top part of his body was completely blown off, so he can’t really come back from that.)

Honestly, the quality of production and filming was excellent, as well as casting and script. But the fans here have a point. Connor could have survived with tactical range, but As soon as jason had her by the neck, she would have been deadsauce.
Yeah, we don't necesarily disagree, lol. I think had we presented it as a short parody-fanfilm, rather than a legit VS, expectations would have been different. That said, it's been interesting and educational to see the comments grow over the years since this was released. Thanks for watching!
The issue is that Jason generally comes back. Sarah could technically win the battle, but not the war. FvJ is unstoppable and overpowered. Part 6 - 8 Jason is powerful but can still be sent to temporary sleep. Uber Jason is hardcore which is reflected by his kills which are more brutal and the android fight should have been longer. Human Jason in 2-4 was durable and could break down doors but he was still easily beaten. Reboot Jason was the best human version. My point is that it depends on what Jason it is.
Vinyl scratch Where would the fun be if Jason Killed her right away? The video would have lasted 2 minutes, and the fight a little 20 seconds and then everyone would have complained. Everyone knows and saw thee dominance Jason had on her. It was clearly a joke to him. But what good would be a series if you made your character die right in the first episode? That is why they decided to make the Terminator come help in a surprise attack, so he could at least stop Jason for now. Like he said at the end. "He'll be back." Jason cannot die and he will come back. Even Sarah and the Terminator can't beat him, but for the sake of entertainment, they have to make it last. I think this was incredibly good, I wish this series would go on, even if the kickstarter failed. They could always try another crowdfunding site.The next episode was supposed to be Freddy vs Neo from the Matrix. But who knows, the 4th maybe 5th episode could have been part two of this. Jason vs Terminator this time, and he would kill him. They never even had the chance to continue, and people are complaining. Give them at least a chance.

In Parts II-IV, VIII and the Freddy vs. Jason. vs. Ash comic? Jason does in fact do these things. Keep in mind in Part VIII, the dude let Julius punch the crap out of him for who knows how long and only killed him once he finally got worn out and FvJvA? He wags his finger at his victims once he figures out their little attempt at a diversion.
Aspiring Creator Well the reason behind all of these “different” interpretations of Jason and the inconsistencies, is cause of the changing of writers/directors. All movie icons seem to go through this. MM, FK, GF, etc. Without balance, the villain(s) will always win. Plus Hollywood movie studious, and its predecessors, does NOT like it when they get black lash from fans when a villain “wins”. The only reason nowadays that a movie studio(s) would let a villain win, I.e. Avenger’s: Infinity War (2018), is so that they can get maximum profit from an upcoming, and inevitable, sequel (Avenger’s: Endgame (2019). TLTR - - Plot armor is your best friend when it comes to making a film fun, and enjoyable for both sides...
Oh yeah the water weakness, the one Jason must have forgotten about when he left a sinking ship and swam across the ocean to New York in "Jason takes Manhattan". Water sure is a weakness for him. Not like the humans though. They don't have a water weakness. They cowered on a life raft just for convenience while Jason was showing off his Olympic swimming skills.

Additionally music was very impressive as it felt like their soundtracks while still beings its own thing. Also technically Sarah lost as she had to be saved.
That was awesome. Great setup with Jason getting to have a little fun before Sarah crashes the party. The fight scenes are impressive too. Look forward to more episodes.

LOL! Who wrote this garbage? She's loading a shotgun with the arm that was so severely damaged by a machete that it would otherwise be functionally useless because of the nerve and ligament and tendon damage.
I was able to reconcile that. What annoyed me is that the shotgun was a Benelli M4, which is a semi-automatic firearm, yet she operated it like a pump action. If anything, they should do some research first. All in a'll not bad though.
They already said they have episode 2 in the works and it's Neo from The Matrix Quadrilogy vs. Freddy Kruger from the Nightmare on Elm Street Franchise.
Dialog, production values, casting, opening premise...All dope. Like, really quality. Even giving the slight allowance of Jason egging her on (he did have that lil mano-y-mano w/ the boxer on the rooftop in "Takes Manhattan" so its allowable), the action was good, near heart racing even. That finish tho? Dude, Jason is the neck snapping CHAMP!!! I love the giant swing you guys took, again overall worth watching. The sequel ahould be him hunting her down AFTER John Conner is grown. I'm sure he'd kill the hell outta an elderly Sarah Conner.
Zombie Jason has lost before remember Tommy seemingly finally ended Jason in Part VI when Jason became a Zombie by trapping him underwater, Tina with assistance from her undead dad beat him in Part VII and even then Tina throughout most of that final fight was curbstomping the undead Jason with her powers which makes her undead dad getting the assist kill stupid as Tina could've easily just used her powers to telekinetically rip Jason apart as again she was curbstomping him with her powers throughout 90% to 99% of Part VII's final fight, and in Part VIII Jason was killed when he was dumped into a vat of Toxic Waste.
Are we just going to ignore the fact if Jason gets anyone in a choke hold then there heads immediately coming off. This girl was saved by plot armor alone.
That's kind of how final girls in these horror flicks work. Killers like Jason somehow kill every single person super quickly but when it comes to the final one the always struggle. The purpose of this wasn't to determine who would win in an actual fight but rather it was supposed to be just a fun throwback to horror of old with a cool fight to go along with it.
Technically yes, Sarah put up a good fight but there was no besting Voorhees, points go to him. That said, we couldn't live with ourselves if A) we killed Sarah off and B) we missed an opportunity to have Terminator cameo ;) Also, try not to think of SLASH/UP in terms of "who should win" so much... while yes, the debate is a factor, for sure, our show is more about the cross-over elements and storytelling-- the journey, rather than the destination, if that makes sense, like a live action comic cross over.
Interesting fight. But that plasma cannon or whatever it is they have would probably destroy Jason like those futuristic weapons did in jason x before he became uber jason. And if Jason would kill it then the predator would probably self destruct and part 9 proved that powerful military explosives are enough to do the job. Until some idiot eats his heart again.

I submit this as cannon. A lot of great stuff here. Loved the visual easter eggs like making the sandwich and stuff. Often a bit too much references but felt very in theme.

Looked great, Effects and Costumes were on point and loved the call backs to the movies. I liked the story mostly but I gotta agree with the Majority, Too much interference for what was pitched as a 1v1 fight. Sarah was saved twice from outside interference, Once when she had already given up and told Jason to "Just do it", Interference by Nerdy guy saved her, then the killing blow came from The Terminator who wasn't meant to be in the Fight as "that isn't where the story lies". So for me Jason wins by Disqualification. Pitched as a meeting of Franchises and no 1v1 premise and it works better, If it was me I would have to add a scene with Jason's Mother coming out of the Water and grabbing Sarah at the end though as homage to Friday the 13th Part 2 and makes it fair if Jason also had a lil Interference help on his side. But overall great work.
hoakey lines, shitty acting by everyone, especially by sarah conner...but the man jason looked awesome and was played well, I think I even noticed some kane hodder mannerisms in there with the head turn. production value was superb. didn't expect to see anyone trying to play schwarzenegger, cause to me that never works but oh well, it was fun. all around an entertaining web show. will definitely be watching future episodes.....now someone go show this to the jackasses that made Freddy vs Jason and say "what the fuck is so hard about this???" lol

Honestly, the quality of production and filming was excellent, as well as casting and script. But the fans here have a point. Connor could have survived with tactical range, but As soon as jason had her by the neck, she would have been deadsauce.
Yeah, we don't necesarily disagree, lol. I think had we presented it as a short parody-fanfilm, rather than a legit VS, expectations would have been different. That said, it's been interesting and educational to see the comments grow over the years since this was released. Thanks for watching!

The issue is that Jason generally comes back. Sarah could technically win the battle, but not the war. FvJ is unstoppable and overpowered. Part 6 - 8 Jason is powerful but can still be sent to temporary sleep. Uber Jason is hardcore which is reflected by his kills which are more brutal and the android fight should have been longer. Human Jason in 2-4 was durable and could break down doors but he was still easily beaten. Reboot Jason was the best human version.
My point is that it depends on what Jason it is.

Vinyl scratch Where would the fun be if Jason Killed her right away? The video would have lasted 2 minutes, and the fight a little 20 seconds and then everyone would have complained. Everyone knows and saw thee dominance Jason had on her. It was clearly a joke to him. But what good would be a series if you made your character die right in the first episode?
That is why they decided to make the Terminator come help in a surprise attack, so he could at least stop Jason for now. Like he said at the end. "He'll be back." Jason cannot die and he will come back. Even Sarah and the Terminator can't beat him, but for the sake of entertainment, they have to make it last.
I think this was incredibly good, I wish this series would go on, even if the kickstarter failed. They could always try another crowdfunding site.The next episode was supposed to be Freddy vs Neo from the Matrix. But who knows, the 4th maybe 5th episode could have been part two of this. Jason vs Terminator this time, and he would kill him. They never even had the chance to continue, and people are complaining. Give them at least a chance.

Keep in mind in Part VIII, the dude let Julius punch the crap out of him for who knows how long and only killed him once he finally got worn out and FvJvA? He wags his finger at his victims once he figures out their little attempt at a diversion.
Aspiring Creator Well the reason behind all of these “different” interpretations of Jason and the inconsistencies, is cause of the changing of writers/directors. All movie icons seem to go through this.

Plus Hollywood movie studious, and its predecessors, does NOT like it when they get black lash from fans when a villain “wins”. The only reason nowadays that a movie studio(s) would let a villain win, I.e. Avenger’s: Infinity War (2018), is so that they can get maximum profit from an upcoming, and inevitable, sequel (Avenger’s: Endgame (2019).
TLTR - - Plot armor is your best friend when it comes to making a film fun, and enjoyable for both sides...

LOL! Who wrote this garbage? She's loading a shotgun with the arm that was so severely damaged by a machete that it would otherwise be functionally useless because of the nerve and ligament and tendon damage.
I was able to reconcile that. What annoyed me is that the shotgun was a Benelli M4, which is a semi-automatic firearm, yet she operated it like a pump action. If anything, they should do some research first. All in a'll not bad though.

Dialog, production values, casting, opening premise...All dope. Like, really quality. Even giving the slight allowance of Jason egging her on (he did have that lil mano-y-mano w/ the boxer on the rooftop in "Takes Manhattan" so its allowable), the action was good, near heart racing even. That finish tho? Dude, Jason is the neck snapping CHAMP!!! I love the giant swing you guys took, again overall worth watching. The sequel ahould be him hunting her down AFTER John Conner is grown. I'm sure he'd kill the hell outta an elderly Sarah Conner.

Zombie Jason has lost before remember Tommy seemingly finally ended Jason in Part VI when Jason became a Zombie by trapping him underwater, Tina with assistance from her undead dad beat him in Part VII and even then Tina throughout most of that final fight was curbstomping the undead Jason with her powers which makes her undead dad getting the assist kill stupid as Tina could've easily just used her powers to telekinetically rip Jason apart as again she was curbstomping him with her powers throughout 90% to 99% of Part VII's final fight, and in Part VIII Jason was killed when he was dumped into a vat of Toxic Waste.

That's kind of how final girls in these horror flicks work. Killers like Jason somehow kill every single person super quickly but when it comes to the final one the always struggle. The purpose of this wasn't to determine who would win in an actual fight but rather it was supposed to be just a fun throwback to horror of old with a cool fight to go along with it.

Technically yes, Sarah put up a good fight but there was no besting Voorhees, points go to him. That said, we couldn't live with ourselves if A) we killed Sarah off and B) we missed an opportunity to have Terminator cameo ;) Also, try not to think of SLASH/UP in terms of "who should win" so much... while yes, the debate is a factor, for sure, our show is more about the cross-over elements and storytelling-- the journey, rather than the destination, if that makes sense, like a live action comic cross over.

Looked great, Effects and Costumes were on point and loved the call backs to the movies. I liked the story mostly but I gotta agree with the Majority, Too much interference for what was pitched as a 1v1 fight. Sarah was saved twice from outside interference, Once when she had already given up and told Jason to "Just do it", Interference by Nerdy guy saved her, then the killing blow came from The Terminator who wasn't meant to be in the Fight as "that isn't where the story lies". So for me Jason wins by Disqualification. Pitched as a meeting of Franchises and no 1v1 premise and it works better, If it was me I would have to add a scene with Jason's Mother coming out of the Water and grabbing Sarah at the end though as homage to Friday the 13th Part 2 and makes it fair if Jason also had a lil Interference help on his side. But overall great work.

hoakey lines, shitty acting by everyone, especially by sarah conner...but the man jason looked awesome and was played well, I think I even noticed some kane hodder mannerisms in there with the head turn. production value was superb. didn't expect to see anyone trying to play schwarzenegger, cause to me that never works but oh well, it was fun. all around an entertaining web show. will definitely be watching future episodes.....now someone go show this to the jackasses that made Freddy vs Jason and say "what the fuck is so hard about this???" lol
