    This video was very helpful! I am in a geology lab and I have been looking all day for a source to explain the UTM system in a way I can understand and you did the job perfectly! Your a lifesaver, thank you for the great content!!!

    I can not even begin to explain how much sense this makes now that you've explained it so concise. I will pass my exam solely because of this video THANK YOU

    Thanks for this Kevin. I have always used longitude and latitude in the past. This will make topo map & GPS navigation more accurate for my wife and I because when we are exploring Crown land we like record waypoints along our route and points of interest, such as good potential camping sites, trails we have happened upon, etc. This video will along us to transfer the GPS coordinates to the paper topo map for more accurate recording of the things we have discovered out there.
    Cheers!

    oh sure, another brain-scrambler... your delivery is perfect for my nimbly wobbly thought process It left a lasting impression on my memory, cleared it right out, whew sure was messy in there...Thanks as we wrote 49 and 05 04 06 helped get me in shape ... cause I had to use my toes... puff puff... think I might have to watch this several times before I give up or learn

    Thank you. Very understandable video and I thank you. However the map you chose had those bright red lines which you didn’t explain what they are, and it was hard to see the UTM Grid lines you were actually showing us because of all the red lines. That would be my only negative comment. Everything else is 99.9 positive. A big thumbs up :-)

    Hi Kev. I'm not seeing where you're getting the 49 from ...because you're pointing at the number 44.

    • @TheHappyCamper
      @TheHappyCamper  3 года назад +2

      The 44 is the latitude degree in black bold. I was - hopefully - pointing at the smaller print number in blue above that. Sorry for the confusion.
