From one Navy vet to another…great job as always. I. grew up in Bennington and the surrounding area. This is one of many very creepy stories we grew up hearing. Spending days as kids playing in the woods was common for us. As we got older we would NOT go into those woods. If you did, you were left with a very uneasy feeling. It’s hard to explain. It’s a feeling that runs down your spine and into your core. It just leaves you with the feeling you don’t belong there and you need to go.

There's always a first for everything! Do not hug the bears! They don't cuddle well with others.

A human can break someone's ribs with a hug. My brother accidentally broke my father's ribs with a hug. He never listened when we told him "not so hard.
Had a friend break the center of my ribcage with one punch, and we were just playing around. It took weeks before I could stand up straight. I have little bumps there ever since.

Hahaha. That is so true. I used to see another employee at who worked at a different office I would have business in. We would chat about every 2 to 3 months. When I saw him after several months he looked like he had cancer. I immediately inquired about his condition and he told me that another employee he had become friends with at his office moved in on his wife and she broke the marriage up to be with this guy. She kicked her husband out, kept the house , the kids, and the family dog. The other guy was living his life. It turned him into a shell of a man. This is how perfectly normal law abiding men end up in prison and on the evening news.
Not just men! Women's lives are squeezed to death, too. Especially if you have no income and the mutual agreement was for you to be the stay at home parent to raise your children full-time. Then everything a woman works (raising children is full-time work!) for is lost and she is ordered to pay child support! Left homeless and paying for the children she doesn't get full custody of either when she will never be paid half of what he makes!
My mom can’t legally divorce my father because she makes more than him and would have to pay support. Please stop.
@@thesinfulyogini2073 do you realize what a minority that is most divorces end up with the man paying then it's in the 90 something percent also women typically get the kids so that means the man is paying also for child support so one rare example is not enough to tip the scales it's like saying there's a snake born with two heads so all snakes have two heads no it's just a rare occurrence

One would hope some hair or bodily fluids were on Carls clothing. Then DNA could have been done to check what was the culprit that killed him. Odd he left his gun behind him . Any experienced hunter knows to always have ones rifle ready. Especially in Bear Country. So many odd things about this case. 💪🏻🙏🏻✨

Bennington it is beautiful, but like a few other spots, has some strange and mysterious deaths. I know I would never enter the mountains alone.
Bears jump up and down with their front feet on their prey sometimes.
That doesn’t explain no other injuries or why he would approach with no gun.
The no gun thing is what is most puzzling to me. I don’t set my gun down for anything if I’m in the woods especially in bear country. Was the bears mouth shot? That’d be my question.

If he shot that blackbear supposably left his rifle behind to go check on the bear that bear wasn't shot and wounded fatally that bear would get up and tear you apart but he only had minor scratches on his wrists and hands but his chest was crushed to the point where it broke all of his ribs a human being can do that but if he was camping by himself with nobody else around it just makes you wonder what actually took place that's a mystery that may never be solved

Carl made may been in shock. The bear could have been in shock as well. Bear knew Carl would re-engage and kill it or kill a nearby cub. We've seen weirder things.. Bears know what a gun is. Again, protecting a miss from killing acub. I stand by this only because I witnessed a similar incident. When where and why, I can not disclose, but yeah, it can and has . You'd me amazed.

He had a Heart attack or stroke left his rifle and started walking for help and ended up dying. The bear found his dead body and stomped on him. Bear ran away and didnt eat him after hearing rescuers in that area.

A friend of mine tells a story of how he thought a Sasquatch squeezed and killed his brother in Washington county Georgia…when you gave the description of how he was found..It was just like his story…light scratches broken ribs and was found face down with his fists in the dirt…They say he had a heart attack..But my friend that told the story of what happened to his brother truly traumatized him very deeply…And I believe every word he said this guy don’t lie…Not that type…crazy
Moral of the story: when u r out hiking, carry an m249 with u, in case a bear shows up fire all 100 rounds and then check if its dead or not

Bears 🐻 don’t squeeze anything as far as I know. They have been known to jump up and down on people on their chests and stuff using their weight to crush them. But they don’t squeeze anything. Is it even physically possible for their arms to move that way?

Again Mr Ballen I love you and your videos! You are a legitimate hero and I wish I could show my full gratitude for your sacrifice to the citizens of this country. But most black bears are killed with one shot. Just like most deer or hogs one shot through the chest and the animal is dead within 20-30 seconds. A black bear, whitetail deer, or hog shot through the heart/lungs is dead in no more than 30 seconds. Please stop making hunters sound like cruel blood thirsty killers, I assure you most of us try to dispatch the animal as quickly as possible!

Yeh, shoot at a Squatch, not a good idea. My dad encountered one in Southern Louisiana. It scared him so bad, that even armed with his weapon of choice, " A 30-30", caused him to abruptly change his hunting habits, & not choose to go back into th remote Swamps by himself ever again.

I full heartedly believe in shape shifters. have a monster of a dog that hangs out now around my house, years ago seen what I thought was a black bear run off on two legs. this dog now is something else that just sleeps at my backdoor in the snow. won't come in the house for very long so chill, he's so happy to just hang around and get chest rub's, and every bit of table scraps.
