I know this is an old video but can you post the aftermarket parts you used? Interested in that skid plate, I can't find anything but a plastic plate for the SXF. Thanks
How’d you WMS up liking your 450? I’m thinking of getting a 450xcf for hare scrambles. Thought I wanted a 350 until I rode one and it didn’t quite have the low end I wanted. Currently ride a 2006 Crf450r. Looking for something with e-start.
@@tgvenom69 If you're doing Hare Scrambles I'd definitely recommend getting the XCF over the SX-F. I've since replaced the wheels (rear for 18"), changed the tank to the larger XCF tank which required a whole new fuel pump assembly (~$600) and STILL don't have a kickstand. Man, that kickstand doesn't sound like much, but I race alone most of the time and I'm so jealous of the people who can stretch and walk around on the line before the start. I'm going to figure out how to retro one on my SXF. I basically made it an XCF without a kickstand. Pointless and expensive exercise. FYI, I did a TON more to my bike than above but above are the things that the XCF had as standard.
@@tgvenom69 Oh, to answer your question on performance. It is an absolute rocket. I have a 300xc and a 450sxf configured identically. The 450 is the one I race with...you'll see why if you get one. Will say, though, that the 300 is a dead engine start holeshot ringer though. Start it wide open in 2nd and just meter in the clutch...you're just gone.
It is a really great nice bike, i did kind of the same on my own sxf
Great! Thank you! Best regards, amade‘

You kept a 13 sprocket on it? I want a 12 on mine (16 ktm 450sxf)
Just got mine for hare scrambles and enduro...we'll see how it turns out. Have yet to ride it.
