I personally HATE using bombs. They are fantastic to use, but I do find them to be a BIG over powered. Obviously you can get rid of the bombs by removing the summon itself, but ugh!….
Im not sure youre right about crucio killing a same level dragon through a legendary hagrid buff. The best option I found to deal with it is using your companions and then going for a counter push and trying to maintain the pressure on them so they cant get another one off. And if they do break your push, by the time that happens youll hopefully have another compaion ready to deal with the next one. Most Egg players Ive seen revolve their strategy around spamming the egg and dont have any alternative win condition so 3 companions along with whatever your own deck can do should really make it tough for them to accomplish much.
I'm reading this for 3 times and still wonder what you mean since companion have high cooldown than card loop system. Once you can call them, Hagrid user already summon his ATK unit for 3 time now, also did you know that only one of three dragon fireballs is 200 AOE damage? Your companion will die first before lay hand on it ( and what companion you gonna use? Ron? That can be killed even like the most damage turret, Cassandra) However, Crucio is surly to be counter card since it the most damage you can applies on single unit, it famous to be use against Hagrid summon anyway.
@brunoabranches881 it's purpose not to break the egg at the first place, isn't it? Just to reduce healing rate and you just use another spell is enough to make the egg break or force hagrid to spend more mana to heal it by card. Anyway, iirc the video already said Hagrid use atleast 9 mana to run hatching combo, i think atmospheric which is just 4 mana and another spell is enough. I mean, counter is not mean the target must die, but it must ruin everything they gonna do anyway~
@@brunoabranches881 It reduces the healing potentials by a significant amount. Sometimes you have to adjust your situations based on when they cast egg or not. Most of the time, it’s fairly obvious!
@@LukaMogarna nah, Hagrid users don't need to spend 9 mana, they just spend 7 to put the egg there and let the enemy spend 8, 9 or even more mana just to kill it or break it and then put another egg and repeat

It doesn't. It won't break the egg, you will need to spend more than 7 mana just to break it using atmospheric + another spell
Atmospheric charm DOES counter dragon (Atmospheric has grievous wounds which is healing reduction) you have to save your atmospheric though
