    Happy to see you fishing naturally without the video game live scopes in your face. It’s a testament to a true fishing champion and not a corporate hack. My father won more tournaments than I can count in the 80’s on lake Murray and throughout the nation with nothing but pure ability and instincts. Fish have not changed. Man has and it’s all greed. It steals the purity from the sport.

      I won't say that I'll never venture or try an advanced electronic system but I 100% get what you're saying. Fishing in it's purest form leaves room for excitement from the unexpected while lending to the true talent and instincts of an angler. There needs to be a line eventually made for tournament fishing at all levels but who knows what that'll be. All I know is that I get just as much joy catching fish from my paddle only kayaks as I do the ones I have fully outfitted.

    I lived in the Bay for several years so Ive fished many of the places Greg has. For some reason, whether it be the editing style, or music, or camera angles, Greg's videos really put me back in those days fishing NorCal waters. It's like I'm actually back there on the water for 20 to 30 glorious minutes.

    Mornin…finally got to watch 😮 Been a bit busy with a derby and recovering. It was one of those where I did everything I could to lose. I did not submit one and that cost me 11 places 🤦🏻‍♂️ I had three board jumpers and in a 10 limit derb that is suicidal 🙄 There goes a third place finish 😫 Not much a guy can do about the four that came off except play them instead of trying to put em in the yak too fast 🤷🏼‍♂️ I am
    happy bc of the potential top 5 🎉 Best finish ever, well sort of. It will go better next time 😎 Great video Greg, thanks for taking us fishing with you 👊

    Hey maybe asked and answered but... I know from past videos you have a 2 battery system, how often do you have to switch to the second battery and how much power is left after a tournament? I'm considering an upgrade and trying to determine if I wanted to do the 3 horsepower Newport or not.

    • @GregBlanchardFishing
      @GregBlanchardFishing  Год назад

      Man that just depends on the tournament and how many spots or areas I need to get to. I'd say on average I like to go as fast as possible (and burning battery quicker) during tournaments so between the two 24v 50ah Batteries I'm working with I'll go through one and a half by the end of an average tournament day.

    Mr. Greg . . . FUN day of fishing (QTY: 30+) 🤙. . . SWEET! Hey, CONGRATs with your inclusion to Team Native Watercraft and hoping it'll be a long lasting symbiotic relationship. For me, having you on their vid was true "click bait" 😜; didn't read the title . . . just saw your PIC and opened their vid. Enjoyed your break down and descriptions of their new kayak and I'm hoping Team Native Watercraft will hook you up with one soon so we can see you fish from it and see some "real world" experiences / results / outcomes using it. Out of curiosity, were you able to provide any insights / recommendations with the design, features, and options? I hope so as I really appreciate when companies / manufacturers listen to their end users' feedback, comments, and suggestions. Another wonderfully edited vid and looking forward to your next one 🤙.

    I'm shocked you don't throw a weedless swimbaits or underspins more. You love the A-Rig haha just use one swimbait this time.

    What kind of hook are you using on your Drop Shot? Looks like a heavy punching hook

    Have you considered hosting a Dark Horse tournament? I'd travel from Arkansas to fish it.
