Morning brothers
Good morning dude!
Morning
Happy to see you fishing naturally without the video game live scopes in your face. It’s a testament to a true fishing champion and not a corporate hack. My father won more tournaments than I can count in the 80’s on lake Murray and throughout the nation with nothing but pure ability and instincts. Fish have not changed. Man has and it’s all greed. It steals the purity from the sport.
It’s cheating till you have one lol
@@Crank.d it’s taking fishing in a very bad direction. I refuse. It’s woke and weak! It’s the bud light version of fishing.
@@TheDarkHorse949 yea it is I find it more fun to see the fish on my lure not the screen
@@Crank.d 👍💥
I won't say that I'll never venture or try an advanced electronic system but I 100% get what you're saying. Fishing in it's purest form leaves room for excitement from the unexpected while lending to the true talent and instincts of an angler. There needs to be a line eventually made for tournament fishing at all levels but who knows what that'll be. All I know is that I get just as much joy catching fish from my paddle only kayaks as I do the ones I have fully outfitted.
I lived in the Bay for several years so Ive fished many of the places Greg has. For some reason, whether it be the editing style, or music, or camera angles, Greg's videos really put me back in those days fishing NorCal waters. It's like I'm actually back there on the water for 20 to 30 glorious minutes.
thats cool man and glad they give those vibes
Nothing like some good coffee and Greg Clip.
You put in the hard work man. You deserved this day.
I love the introduction to this video, gave us a look at exactly what you’re using how it looks! Thanks, Greg!
This seasons videos have been top tier.
The delta is on!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Allways fun watching
Wow, a bunch of dinks, but 30+ fish caught in the day that's freaking awesome!! I can only dream of a day of fishing like that. 👍
Coffee and Kayaking- heaven
Walking up, getting ready to hit the water, while watching GBs, new drop for some motivation. LFG!
Good day y'all..thanks Greg
Saving this video because of the intro on different set-ups. Vital information for me. Thanks.
Let's go, motivation gonna get after it on my small ponds here in the bay..... let's freaking go....
11:59 that skip and bite was so satisfying
The detail breakdown of gear in the intro is super nice.
What a day of catching. Definately wasn't fishing. Lol. Great video. Thanks Greg.
Hot weather, hot dink bite and another awesome video. Cheers ☕. Thanks for letting us tag along.
It's crazy, I have been following you for 3ish years now. I love watching you fish the Delta. From an outside perspective it's almost like the Delta had some sort of generational die off of the older bigger fish.
And the wacky never fails. Great video Greg! Much love from NY
Been a minute since i watched you greg, or any other fishing channel actually, gonna have to pick up where i left off. Tight lines bro
Love waking up to these videos
Greetings from SoCal, tough down here too, getting better with heatwave. I really liked the intro showing the tools and techniques.
Just recently started watching your videos this last month. My Dad left me his Kayak when he passed. It's just a catch120 nothing like what you use but the tricks and techniques are still the same thank you for the knowledge.
Another epic GB clinic 👌🏻.
I think it's just that time of year.. I've been catching nothing but dinks lately too; On the spinner bait, chatterbait, and senko. Randomly landed a 3lber+ on the senko, but that was it. Nice video though Greg! Super peaceful and relaxing to watch. No loud and obnoxious music
Awesome time on the water. Always good when you are catching.
Hi from C Loma Greg! Another beautiful day made even better by your new vid. I learn something with every episode. Love that you showed the easy going Delta vibe perfectly!
Fun to watch. So much different than TVA lakes.
No fishing for me for a while it's 117 degrees this week out here in Arizona. Great video and tight lines.
damn lol
Mornin…finally got to watch 😮 Been a bit busy with a derby and recovering. It was one of those where I did everything I could to lose. I did not submit one and that cost me 11 places 🤦🏻♂️ I had three board jumpers and in a 10 limit derb that is suicidal 🙄 There goes a third place finish 😫 Not much a guy can do about the four that came off except play them instead of trying to put em in the yak too fast 🤷🏼♂️ I am
happy bc of the potential top 5 🎉 Best finish ever, well sort of. It will go better next time 😎 Great video Greg, thanks for taking us fishing with you 👊
You are great at what you do… keep it up!
spinner reel rod combo was the winner that day
Yes, my typical day on the delta also! Dinks. and semi- dinks! What the hell is a semi- dink, Greg? My opinion, dink is everything under 12". It is heating up every where! Thanks, Greg!
GB, why don’t u give the Fluke any love? It must have broken your heart by running off with a 10 pounder. 😂
I gotta get my fluke game up! i hear you
Outgoing tide is where it’s at now!
Thank you for another great video! Always so inspiring and keeps me motivated to keep learning and keep trying! Can’t wait for the next 🙂
Really liked the bait summary at the beginning and the graphic showing where you were on the tide chart. Thank you!
You put on a clinic out there.🔥
Great video as usual and love the intro with the gear breakdown.
Greg, I’m afraid you’re going to have to issue helmets to your Bass my friend. Either that or put foam padding at all critical locations on your boat. The poor things are getting concussions!!!😂😂😂
Junk fishing yeah, but 97° - YIKES! I look forward to being as good an angler as you, and watching your videos help. When the Ranger is back from the shop (lower end and prop damage from rocks,) we'll take another try at the Delta. Now that I'm retired (I don't count the mobile notary part) I need to spend more time on the water and keep learning. Thanks Greg 🎣🤗🎣
Morning Blanchard Fam! Cheers coffee drinkers or whatever your drink of choice in the morning! :)
Love the fish counter.
This time of year low light conditions slick water. I think you would be pleasantly surprised to add a big wake bait to your arsenal! Another great video! Thank you for sharing Greg! 🤙
Got the whipper snapper and sac pic big rat in the waiting queue!
Inv rig definitely works Greg! One morning they were being really weird and wouldn’t eat anything. We tried dropshot,wacky,a-rig,tx tig, and a lot of others but we tied on the into rig and in less than 30 min got a limit
Been a while since I commented, been tough since the heat and humidity here! 😊 love the content Greg keep up there great work!!!
Yeah when he said it's 97 I was thinking to myself, I wish it was only 97 here. Our water temps in the lakes are pushing 90 right now.
Great videos
Man it’s been very tough out there in the delta for me can’t seem to get them figured out. Also constantly getting stuck with the green muck on all my lures. Thanks for all the uploads, watching you catch them gives me hope! Will be out there again on my day off.
keep up the grind, you'll run into them eventually
Heat wave going to be crazy Greg! Stay safe bro and stay hydrated!
cheers!
Thanks for another great video, Greg!
Awesome video Greg and heyy i wanna say thank you for inspire me to get and try a baitcaster reel it is awesome 😎💯💯💯
Always love the videos, great fish and just a great fisherman.
Hands down the best kayak RUclips channel/content out there.
subscribed right away when I saw your Sierra Nevada Brewing Neon light 😊 😊
Good stuff
Love your editing!
😎🎣🎥👍
I love the way you punch just just bomb it way up in the air and let her go
Man I love the walk through you did of the new native titan x. I will definitely be getting one
Thanks man, really excited to put it through its paces
Nice editing man!
Greg, it's fun to catch that amount of possibly 12" keepers. But you usually catch a few 5lb to 6lb, and hook a PB. I really believe this is the most confusing, and difficult, stingy Delta, trips out this season. Still great and, appreciated vid bro! 🛶 🌊 🎣
Thank you for the rods
Thanks for showing us your gear
Thank you for doing this video! You are the best greg and keep making amazing content! You need to make custom hats or shirts or even lures/worms or something ... I will buy them all and support ya.
Yall should do the five Small fish challenge for the group trophy..
I’ve been watching your videos for a while now. And I just noticed you do left and right hand retrieve.
Nice pick apart and great rod / bait choices. Looks a lot like Rodman fishing here.
Sup Greg..y’all a fishin fool…nothin wrong with that…my first wife called fishin,the F word..May she rest in peace…fish on…
Good stuff! I learn a lot through your content. One question, I've seen you use the Fish Stick scents alot before on your plastics. Yet there are times like this trip out where I didn't see you use it once. Is there certain conditions where it helps over others?
Good question. i use it mostly on frogs or bed fishing baits. Essentially baits where if you don't throw a hook into the fish they're more likely to hit again. That's the theory at least.
@GregBlanchardFishing ok that makes sense. Appreciate the info!
Just got back from a skunk. Time to boost my morale back haha. Thanks GB
keep grinding bro, it all evens outs in the end
@@GregBlanchardFishing thanks for the encouragement sir, means a lot coming from you. You’ve actually inspired me to save for a pedal kayak and eventually take part in tournaments!
I want to see what all you have in those dam Plano boxes lmao you have so many
It's kind of beautiful to see such a place wake up. Never having caught a Largemouth before, those small fish would keep me happy for a day or two. You fished it well with patience. I appreciate you bringing us along.
One question, this morning I watched a video from five years ago, in which you got some soft plastic baits called Dabs. To me they looked perfect for the Delta, is there further video I should be looking for?
It hit 106 in Texas 🔥
The way you fish close and parallel to shore, I’m surprise you don’t have a fluke tie on.
Good mornin and good job Greg ,wow what did you catch like 35 lol. Just go's to show you some guy's say oh no it's way to hot out there I'm not gonna go lol. Not Greg he went out and killed it. Thanks brother for another great video.
cheers man! fish don't mind that heat!
Oh shit, good morning!
Fun in the sun🤜🤛
I catch every little leaf when I punch, Greg throws into a jungle, BAM.
power of editing 😂
@@GregBlanchardFishing 😆
Good to see I was right in your other video when I asked if that was a Berkley frog and you didn't answer I know why you didn't and I get you couldn't talked about it yet I saw larry Melton put his in a video and once I saw that I figured you would have the okay to show either way excited to hear your opinion on the frog in a future video
haha good eye man. Yeah, I'm excited about their frog. Caught a couple good ones this past week on it.
Greg one of the baits I feel you should add instead of xtra frog is a weightless Fluke or trick worm to throw on over through the vegetation...
yessir, thats what that I need to get better and more proficient with. Bait chasing scenarios where they're just not brave enough to commit on top and I'm sure thats the answer
Like watching a episode of speed dating… every other cast with the wacky rig, fish on!
The inu rig was always too involved. I'm not cuttin' straws every time I need a worm. Although, the OSP MMZ worms do a good job of mimicking that action.
good morning greg
Looks like bethel island Think i found your spots over in the delta haha
Hey maybe asked and answered but... I know from past videos you have a 2 battery system, how often do you have to switch to the second battery and how much power is left after a tournament? I'm considering an upgrade and trying to determine if I wanted to do the 3 horsepower Newport or not.
Man that just depends on the tournament and how many spots or areas I need to get to. I'd say on average I like to go as fast as possible (and burning battery quicker) during tournaments so between the two 24v 50ah Batteries I'm working with I'll go through one and a half by the end of an average tournament day.
Hey Greg, here is one for ya, the 5 inch is obviously common, what would make you go with a 6 or 7 inch stick worm ?
Current is key in the delta. Summer or winter these fish want that moving water.
Those little fish are holding in the shallows (lower O2) so the big fish holding in hydrilla, 5' deep don't eat them...
Fun video as always Greg, great editing. When rigging your punch do you feed the soft plastic over the eye of the hook and knot or no? Seems to be personal preference, curious if you had any input on it. Thanks!
great question! I like to get it over the knot and nice and flush with the weight to keep that baby smooth
A suh coffee gang
Big bass love a 6'in senko I can't tell if that's a 5' or 6' you're throwing
I remember when Greg never fished a spinnerbait
never again
Are you going to get a titan x as your next kayak?
For sure. I want to get some serious time on the water with it and dial it. I think that kayak has a lot of potenital.
When you see the fish counter=dis gon be gud
Mr. Greg . . . FUN day of fishing (QTY: 30+) 🤙. . . SWEET! Hey, CONGRATs with your inclusion to Team Native Watercraft and hoping it'll be a long lasting symbiotic relationship. For me, having you on their vid was true "click bait" 😜; didn't read the title . . . just saw your PIC and opened their vid. Enjoyed your break down and descriptions of their new kayak and I'm hoping Team Native Watercraft will hook you up with one soon so we can see you fish from it and see some "real world" experiences / results / outcomes using it. Out of curiosity, were you able to provide any insights / recommendations with the design, features, and options? I hope so as I really appreciate when companies / manufacturers listen to their end users' feedback, comments, and suggestions. Another wonderfully edited vid and looking forward to your next one 🤙.
I'm shocked you don't throw a weedless swimbaits or underspins more. You love the A-Rig haha just use one swimbait this time.
Is this in Tracy/holt area
What kind of hook are you using on your Drop Shot? Looks like a heavy punching hook
where is your new titan 12.5x?
Have you considered hosting a Dark Horse tournament? I'd travel from Arkansas to fish it.
