  • Jason Leonard is the ideal role model for a modern prop forward and considering that it is the toughest position on the field it's extraordinary that in the Rugby World Cup semi final in the 2003 World Cup Jason took Philippe Sella's record for international appearances only to be surpassed recently by Australian George Gregan. In all Leonard has 114 England caps and 5 caps for the Lions.
Leonard is one of the most popular players of his generation as he combines the love of the game of the true amateur with the dedication and fitness of the professional era. He made his debut in 1990 and he's appeared in two World Cup finals; 1991 and 2003.
