...It's not in the main engine compartment in _FRONT,_ it's the generator in the _BACK!_ The few _Mr. Softee_ truck fires I've seen _always_ seem to start in the back where the diesel engine generator is! That entire system is so cramped in there with the bulk of the back of the _Electro-Freeze_ ice cream unit directly in front of it (which also generates heat), and those cheap-assed axial cooling fans that are _supposed_ to draw in air from the outside, all through that compartment, and back out again, often fail!
