I paid $50 for 170 tools, they were all pretty rubbish but I found one labelled Made in Queensland.

    Footprint tools are still going and still made in Sheffield! They have a thumb turn version of the classic pipe wrench which is the only improvement it really needed.

      I know! I look at them at the hardware store whenever I'm in there, and there is a factory tour on RUclips!

    Nice haul. Just came across your channel and i love collecting old tools too. that rose wood angle gauge and that bullet level are beautiful. Do you do any wood working? I made a great dove tail saw out of a cheap gent saw like that. I also use a little hammer like that for adjusting plane irons.

      I never got the hang of woodworking, but I have a crack when necessary. I do like the look of the old gear.

    hes right mate. its a ear notcher for cattle. my grandfather had them on his farm.
