Hi! I'm going to (attempt!) to put in a new oven igniter, and I'll have to splice in the wires. I was wondering what the best way to strip off the type of insulation on the wires, since it's that heat resistant stuff. Thank you for any advice!

Thank you so much for this informative, step by step video on how to replace the igniter! My husband was calling ppl to come and give an estimate and they were charging $100 just for an estimate, so I told him no, I'll do it myself. Went to Ebay, ordered the igniter and came back to follow your video. Of course, my husband had to help me, lol, but we saved $$ and get to use the same Frigidaire we've had for the last 11 or 12 yrs. thank you again!!!
