- The USS Defiant - Constitution class - arrives in the Mirror Universe!
Ok, technically this is incomplete. I should add intro and credits at the end plus the cut has not got all the sound effects I wanted. But I have a course critical to a change in career approaching and I really, really have to start preparing for it. If I feel I have done enough prep and I have time before the course starts I will try and see if I can tidy this up. But, given what I have coming up I cannot guarantee. So, rather than having this just lying around on the hard disk, I thought I would upload it.
Many thanks to Like2upload for allowing me use of his mix of the 'Airwolf' theme. The full rendering is here... • Video I think it's seriously cool!
All copyright remains that of Paramount and associates. This is for fan/fun purposes only.
Er, if you have a spare minute, you may check out my "Ah my Goddess" AMV's. Though they are a different pace and somehwat different taste. Though I suppose the 'All my Goddess" is also rather action based.
Thanks to all!
Jedinovice.
['Enterprise' Not as bad as you remembered! Apart from 'A night in sickbay.' That really stank.] - Кино
Linda Park was so great in this episode... She played a completely different character just as well as her Prime Universe character.
Couldn't agree more.
"Empress Sato...."
That little snarl of lip right at the end...
Dayum!
Henchman Twenty1 I wish the books were still in print. I can't find anything local on the Mirror Universe.
Exactly...her nonchalant way, almost bored order. Awesome!
Russell Mitchem The mark of someone used to power. "What, you're not done yet?"
My brother went me 20 boxes full of Star Trek books a couple of years ago. He had them in storage in California and when he moved to Hawaii didn't have room for them. He had every Star Trek book up to about 2009 I believe. I can't say for sure, but I bet the mirror universe books are in there. I know I read 3 books that had to do with Bones when he was lost in the Guardian of forever, Spock surrounding that as well as Kirk. I believe it was three books. Can't remember the name of them. There is voyager books as, next gen, DS9, Enterprise and TOS.... Even a klingon dictionary. I've read only a hand full. One when voyager goes back to the Delta Quadrant and my favorite "Federation" , I've read twice. I won't live long enough to read them all unfortunately. Right now they are in my shop, boxed with no place to put them since I moved. Sad :( To miss quote Indiana Jones "They belong in a library!"
Russell Mitchem Your paraphrasing is quite reasonable, indeed. there is nothing worse than the loss of creativity and imagination in a world so starved for both. There are days when I think back to Hypatia of Alexandria and what she went through. She knew what had been lost in the final destruction, so I'm sure that the pain of her death was nowhere as horrible as that loss. I however do regret giving all my DLI language training materials to the local branch. They simply recycled it all. - sigh -
do a good thing...
get kicked in the nuts.
Jolene Blalock and Linda Park were hot showing off their midriff
plezx29 their bellieeessss
You are clueless.
Believe your blind eyes, if you can't tell the difference between a male and female.....
You going to tell me now Caitlyn Jenner is a real woman????
It is no woman Ken....
www.gotceleb.com/wp-content/uploads/photos/jolene-blalock/bikini-candids-in-haiti/Jolene-Blalock-in-Bikini--02.jpg
You seem to have the belief that woman can not be athletic. That is incorrect.
@@spadesofpaintstudios1719 Well that and shes had 3 kids.
I loved this series! I don't understand why so many people disliked Enterprise.
I agree
There are no pills against stupidity!
They didn't like the fact that NX had a grappling hook instead of a tractor beam, haha.
Mainly because they were so dissatisfied with the setting that they threw in the time police and time traveling nazi lizardmen.
lazy effects
And this is why other other worlds are glad humans haven't achieved interstellar travel yet.
don't you know, we are the mirror universe ! lol!
hail the empire
Very good point, Curas 1. I never thought of us actually being the evil race of humans.
+Dennis Mazza
lol! were everything we are in our media and its stricly illegal to make contact or aid humans off planet by any alien species!
humans who get abducted get bread to be gurella shock troops, it's like the movie alien but were the scarry ones.
hahaha
There's a great science fiction short story called, "the Road Not Taken" by Harry Turtledove in which alien races discover anti-gravity and FTL travel long before they invent any of the modern things humans take for granted. (apparently, the underlying technology was something humans could have stumbled across at any time in our history).
So these races decide to build their empires and they go off on low-tech pirate raids to acquire territory and resources. They stumble across Earth and through their spyglasses figure it will be a rich conquest. ("it must have cost them a fortune to cobblestone all those roads") They land in Central Park and figure they'll frighten us into submission by killing some of the locals with their muskets and powder grenades. They immediately get their asses THRASHED by the Earth counter-attack by machine guns, tanks and missiles. Later on, two of the surviving aliens realize that they've just given the humans FTL technology and what the implications are for the galaxy.
amsablan I suppose and epscially now with trump
Absolutely brilliant. I've never seen this before. OMG & the airwolf theme made it stellar.
The malevolent Star Fleet. Just like in Mirror Mirror. 4:28 Damn! Linda Park looks gooood. I love that outfit. Saw some girls wearing these at comic con.
+Terrance Kenallen Well she had a lot of exercise...all those beds she was hopping in and out of.....at least that's what T'pol said.
GOATEES FOR EVERYONE!
The fans never really gave this series any credit. This series was fun, fast paced and entertaining much like the original and TNG.
hackman669 Its on Netflix so enjoy.
I was thinking mirror T'pol looked good. He's all sexy torso.
One of the best of the entire Star Trek series! Creative, daring, spectacular, well acted. Better than the film series and certainly better than that Discovery crap. This ,' Woke,' garage infects everything with a gigantic stink. That Vulcan T'Pol is so hot! Looks great in those cut offs and blue skirt. Man !
The Airwolf theme is a nice touch! Makes me want to watch Enterprise and Airwolf again.
You're speaking with Empress Sato.
Well played Hoshi, she's very Lady Macbeth in her manipulation of Archer to get to the top
I like how they pay attention to every detail up to the gorn.
I love how you put in the theme from Airwolf...nice :)
THIS CALLS FOR A CHEKOV EVIL SMILE FROM MIRROR MIRROR!
Empress of hotness, for sure!!!
its to bad that all enterprise stories were not this well written.
if they were genius then enterprise would have lasted for more then three seasons. most the stories were lame and boring. they needed better writers to being these stories to life. could have done a lot more with the trip, tpol love story, but it was on and off so much that it got stupid like they were two teenagers but she was close to seventy and he was close to forty. they couldnt make up there minds like young teenagers. bet the writers didnt even consider there age.
They cancelled it just as it was getting good. It's a shame.
There was only a couple episodes i had to skip, which was a big improvement over TNG and DS9 in my book. Other then TOS, i enjoyed Enterprise the most of any of the series.
Joe Laton Liked DS9, only saw first episode of Discovery, does it get any better? Have not watched Orville yet
Everything from mid season 2 to 4 were perfectly well written. The Xindi superweapon story line was amazing. So was the beginning of season 4. The show was just starting to get good. Paramount killed it too quickly. It deserved a 5th season.
Archer Kicks Ass, then Hoshi got him. Great episode and props to Paramount for the accuracy of "The Mirror Universe"!
This was great. By the way. Nice use of the Airwolf theme.
brilliant video, the airwolf music really compliments the clip!
Even though these episodes (it was a two-parter) were pure fanboy indulgence, it totally worked! It was fun, exciting, and fit into canon!
Ironically it was during filming of this fourth season installment that the cast found out they'd been canceled..
Hail empress Sato!
GREAT Airwolf theme!! And a GREAT editing job!! Live Long and Prosper
I would love to see the Mirror Universe versions of the Borg and Romulans.
They covered the mirror Borg in Star Trek Online. I haven't played those campaigns yet, but I understand the Borg are even more powerful than the Prime ones.
A combination of Airwolf and Startrek, I love it.
If Starfleet ever created a new starship call U.S.S Defiant-A (NCC-1764-A), Montgomery Scott would be the captain of the ship.
This is a delicious episode.
I have been in love with empress Sato for almost 20 years 😉
The only thing that bugs me about these episodes is that despite an entirely different view from the federation. The Terran ships look identical. Shouldn't they look more war focused?
I love the music they gave these 2 episodes. The music for opening credits was great
60's show throwback in the 2000's with 80's tv theme music... argh so much throwback
4:23--Archer with that "How could you do this to me?" look on his face!
A great series and a couple of awesome episodes!!
Enterprise got good in its last 2 seasons by borrowing inspirations that made DS9 great... go darker, introduce story arcs, serializing, bigger villains, doing Mirror Universe episodes... naming badass ships "Defiant".
Two of my favorite things Airwolf and Star Trek.
This editing is godawful
Damn, Hoshi was such a babe back then!
I was not prepared for the airwolf theme
love the air wolf theme
nice crossover between star trek and the airwolf theme
I miss this show
Archer where's Scotty you need him badly no warp drive Child's Play
Sato: My revenge for being under used!!
Cool.
I think I like this better, we’re always playing goody two shoes, it’s about time we kick some ass! Screw the prime directive, and take whatever we want! Victory will be ours! Lol!, Hey, we can always pretend! But I think this was hands-down my very favourite episode in the entire Star Trek universe! Damn T-pol was sexy!
I never really understood what they were trying to attempt with the mirror universe thing. Seemed like the two most poitnless episodes of the entire series, since they never encountered the normal crew. I do love the idea of them stumbling onto a ship from the Kirk era, but they could have done that in the normal universe with the normal ship and crew.
Nice touch - Airwolf Theme!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Extremely Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Airwolf?
TO BE HONEST... I like this STAR FLEET BETTER!!!
1VAHNFANEL Why? they are slaughtering through the quadrants and betray themselfs
+Takua Nuva BECAUSE HERE HUMANS ARE NOT FUCKING PUSSIES.
+Takua Nuva Now seriously, i really think that human starfleet would look more like this one in real life than the original
and you think thats something good?
Takua Nuva Probably yes, the galaxy is a dangereous place, and in that scenario the humans would have a decent military starfleet to defend earth and mankind if necessary. look at the Vulcans, while they tell everyone to be inferior and uncivilized, they go to war with the andorians at the earliest opportunity. and they build an important amount of battleships. How could we rely on those hypocrats.
And I'm pretty sure that the dominion, the klingons or the romulans would thimk it twice before messing with the humans.,
Air wolf an interesting choice of music but it fits!
Where is the music from? Sounds so familiar!!
Spartan 351 Airwolf Theme
Wish we had a STAR TREK ISS ENTERPRISE series
Do those instructions involve whips, chains and leather, my goddess? 😍😍😍😍
Which Defiant is better? NCC-1764 or NX/NCC-74205/74205-A
Airwolf- The Lady.
Nice choice of music
1:20 best transition
i think what they should of done at the end of this episode was to annoumce to her crew as she pulls out a knife. If anyone wants to find me, I'll be with tapow (the sexy female vulcan)! With a evil smile on her face and everyone else be grinning too!
Too bad JJ's Trek is set in this universe
+Zaid Mahomedy It isn't set in this universe dude
+Zaid Mahomedy It's set in the Cannon-boring universe.
Zaid Mahomedy They should make a movie that sets in the JJ-universe-mirror-universe.
Manuel Baudet Ain't gonna happen.
Why not
The last scene the character Empress B*tch is in warp drive mode !!!
That's one of the things that really annoyed me about the series Enterprise, there were all ready many older designs for ships that they could have used, instead they used ships that looked like they came from The Next Generation ¬_¬
I wish Enterprise kinda continued the alternate universe storyline probably would have ratings better lol
I wish there was a universe Terran empire ruled and was beating everyone
It wouldn't be the ISS Enterprise with a Terran empire... it'd be the USSS Enterprise... The United States Starship Enterprise. :D
No, it wouldn't. The Terran Empire is the equivalent of the Federation in the original universe. The ISS stands for Imperial Starship. The United States had already ceased to exist during this time period.
Airwolf? Really?
omg lol. If Enterprise had the Airwolf theme it would of been great. Instead of being complete shite. Thankyou JJ for saving Trek
AirWolf, nice choice
i thought i had put a comment before but i guess not , here it is, we now know what happened to the uss-defiant (org).
Was that the Air Wolf theme?
Yes
I wonder if by exposing the midriff of all the women, Star Trek was trying to tell us belly buttons are EVIL ?
This is the time period this shit show should have been set in.
Jolene Blalock Linda Park and a Orion girl Perfect : )
Shouldn't the Defiant have had rotor blades?
Empress Sato....damn yah ;)
whats the music on background?
Airwolf music.
Lol if Kirk comes in and disables defint and finds archer and says this ship ain't yours
Enterprise was a good prequel.... they should have did a terran star trek show..
Empress Hoshi? It's not Queen Windsor. Can't they name anything correctly?
Good video..!
I like this version better.
The defiant ncc 1764 is idea for ncc 1701 /phase2/kirk
Long Live The Empire
ALL HAIL THE TERRIAN EMPIRE!
Yeah but then it was defeated by the Klingon Romulan Alliance after Kirk made Spock change the Terrian Empire.
The only thing the Terran Empire did wrong was let a Vulcan rise in the ranks. They cucked and paid the price.
This was my all time favourite Enterprise episode! Hoshi looked so damn hot in that Terran empire uniform! and it was awesome how accurate the interior of the Constitution class Defiant was! how true to the original series! right down to the com panels and the phasers and tricorders!
Agreed - JarJar Abrams should take notes. This is how you do it!
In the regular episodes Hoshi Sato was styled in a lovely but mousy manner. In the mirror universe she was a smoke show.
@@brookeking8559 God damn right she was. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
@katakisLives Evil women are always the hottest for some reason. Same in real life. It wasn't only Hoshi's physical appearance in this 'mirror universe' episode that was smoking hot. Hoshi was nervous and timid in the main universe, but in the mirror universe she came alive. She was confident in her own skin. It reminds me a bit of the original series episode where Kirk was split into his good and evil selves. The evil version had most of the traits that define a great leader, plus most of the charisma. The good version was indecisive and weak. I can't imagine our version of Hoshi having the ambition, confidence and drive to become Empress and rule the Universe... but this one!!! Well played, Hoshi...Very well played 😂
@@realsatoshihashimoto damn right
Apparently in this mirror universe the Star Fleet dress code states that all female issued uniforms must expose the midriff. It also says that slacks may be worn no higher than 4 inches below the belly button and that some cleavage must be visible at all times.
I always liked the mirrorverse better :)
leonardo tavares dardenne It is compelling but would you really want to live in it?
+docsmithdc No! I prefer this one.
+docsmithdc Why not? We're all Terrens and this was almost 200 years before the Alliance. Life would be good.
No miniskirts tho. I am disappoint.
The air wolf theme was a great idea. I would have never have thought of that cross over idea.
Yea it was a great touch. I would never have thought of it
It still sounds cool.
Image a mirror universe version of the Airwolf show. Stringfellow Hawk taking the helicopter and taking over the enemies of the empire.
The Airwolf theme was a great inspiration!
I knew I knew the melody and thought it was from Knight Rider!
🤦♂️
Forgive me!
🤭
Great work!
Kudos to you!
Stay Safe!
👍
It fit very well.
Did someone said that TOS constitution won't look good in modern day CGI?
Only an idiot would say that.
Connie class always was pretty. refit only made her prettier!
@MrSotiredofnewyoutube So... your phrasing is a little confusing. Are you saying that the Connie is irrelevant past the 22nd century?
Airwolf theme! LOL!
Caught that too, huh? Lords I haven't heard that theme in years.
geonerd the Airwolf theme is mixed in nicely!
SgtSplatter782
Nice use of Airwolf. Enterprise was desperately in need of a theme tune.
geonerd Three months doesn't seem to have bothered her. All systems are in the green!
These 2 "Mirror Darkly" episodes are the ones that started me watching "Enterprise," of which I have zero regrets about doing so, even though these 2 were the best ones IMO. The ones with Brent Spiner as Dr. Soong were really good too.
Yep, those eps were in the last season. Which is too bad, I feel had they brought in that writer earlier - it might have saved the show.
+trence5 agreed. The 4th season where they actually started exploring the early elements of Roddenberry's universe were the best. My favorite was how they explained the physical body alterations of the Klingons from the TNG appearance to the TOS appearance. It was a mistake to try to make Enterprise as independent as possible from Roddenberry's vision with the temporal cold war arc and the Xindi arc.
Norman Lee
+Norman Lee - I don't think that was the plan. Sure, they wanted stories to make the show unique. I think they were simply saving the tie-ins to TOS and they were cancelled before they could explore more of those connections. However, they couldn't just spill all of those connections to TOS in season one...where would the show go after that?
rockabye274 By not fleshing out more of the the elements of Roddenberry's universe thru-out the first 3 seasons they lost the interest of many Trekkers, their core audience. And that loss as was reflected in the ratings. And not all the elements need be presented in one season, like the conflict between the Vulcans and Andorians, that sub-plot lasted the entire run of the series. Besides episodes about exploration there should have been more stories about the Tellarites, the Orions and the Romulans leading the way to Earth-Romulan War (which would have been the 5th season). If that was introduced sooner, besides the war itself, it would allow opportunities for Earth to make First Contact with many of the un-named alien species briefly see in ST TOS -"Journey to Babel" perhaps as neutral states or victims caught in the war or as allies against the Romulan Star Empire (just as what happened in the Enterprise episode "United"). The aftermath of the war would have been a better way to introduce the steps towards the Federation instead of the rushed way as presented in the 4th season.
I absolutely loved that last season of Enterprise! It was some of the best Star Trek ever done! It's a real shame the series was cancelled. I can only imagine what great stories we missed out on! The series was just getting started...
Fourth season was not great. They were going for nostalgia to reel in Star Trek fans, and they knew they were floundering, which is why there were so many 2-parters, so that viewers had to come back the following week in order to see the conclusion. You can see in the final season how they were grasping for straws. Had they gone on for one more season, though, they very well could have redeemed themselves. I do think the series could have gone longer, but its ratings were never great.
The reason this show is canceled is simple: it was the worst of all Star Trek's except for DS9.
Evil Hoshi is the best Hoshi
I wonder is she would be bisexual seems common in the Mirror Universe.
8========D
Any Hoshi is the best Hoshi.
Any Hoshi is the best Hoshi.
1:21 It's pretty cool to see the ship powering up as the theme to Airwolf kicks in.
This proves how with minor tweaking and overall better lighting the constitution class still looks badass to this day... Suck it JJTrek.
JJ Trek was not a remake. They were going for a different look and succeeded in spectacular fashion.
True. The Abramverse is just not Trek. It's fun, but not Star Trek.
Star Trek is about the people (or vulcan, etc.) and the decisions they make and relations they have. It's not Space Opera.
Sean Morris Yeah, dat spectacular lens flare look.
If the lens flares were a distraction then the lens flares were the only thing you were watching. In the film, the flares were used to enhance the sense of scale of the environments, especially aboard the ship; and I reckon this was done perfectly. The flares also add a sense of realism to the CGI environments.
Sometimes they were a bit much, JJ said that himself, but other times I barely even notice them, and by the way, they look hella cool.
It's a unique cinematography art style and if people find the flares to be the worst aspect of the film, then it must have been a very good film.
Sean Morris Hell no, not the worst, but is JJ doesn't even realize he's fucking up the movie with lens flares, which is so utterly obvious, how should he be able to realize all the other things?
Oh well, he apologized for the flares now. A bit late.
Damn Sato soo hot! I like this ship! Most Exciting!
Yes she is :)
😀
I love the way all the alternate universe women are portrayed! Hot and sexual predators!
She really put the Ho in Hoshi
Hahaha!!
Two fine females, Hoshi and the Defiant
LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE!
Evil Kirk not when that bitch is in charge.
awww u nazis are so cute lol
And long live Empress Sato.
I'll admit, hearing that old Airwolf theme actually made this scene better.
I was going to look up Airwolf theme song to make sure that was what I was hearing, thanks for saving me the trouble.
Josen Reola, yeah it does. I was shocked but very happy at the same time. Great choice of theme.
I agree. I got a big smile when I heard it.
I love you Empress Sato.
Yeah, Enterprise suxed , but the last 2 or maybe really the last season was a lot better when Manny Cotto took over an brought back plots from STOS into the writing . The Orion Girls , and some of Khans People , but was way too late.
I loved Enterprise so I don't agree with you there.
