This was my all-time favorite episode of The Big Thing. Seeing Kristian, Dan and Rocha together was as wild and wonderful as I'd expect, and I could've listened to you guys talk for five more hours.

Great to see you three together! I’ve been watching Dan and Darth Harloff since 2010 and listening to thetopten show since Harloff recommended way back when Knost and Rocha first started out.
What a fun episode! The excitement and chemistry between you three was awesome! The Greg Alba episode was my favorite up until this point, and you guys knocked it out of the park! So hype to see what’s to come in 2023, congrats on a phenomenal year! 🎉
My favorite of the year is 'Bones and All" it's just such a beautiful yet disturbing coming of age tragic love story mixed with some horror. And the performance of Mark rilance in a supporting role was probably my favorite performance of any actor this year and it's a performance that I didn't even expect or know that kind of character in the movie and the way they use him in the story is brilliant. It's just a masterpiece.
Big fan of Dan( I follow his channel ) and it was great seeing Rocha again. All three of y’all together have awesome chemistry and it reminded me of the old movie talk days on Collider!!

Great vid. Love seeing these guys together again in studio. One thing I wish people would do in these year-end "best of's" is include what platform you can find each of these movies and shows. It would be very helpful for me to be able to catch up on the things I've missed.

Character growth from the least likely of places, normal shmucks like you and me- the seemingly bored and boring becoming more, finding a personal reason to take up the cause against the Empire. Or indeed, people who are involved with the Empire seeing the sickness from within, and still finding a personal reason(daddy/mommy issues, lookin at you, Syril) to dig deep and become obsessed with their newfound version of justice. Anyways, Hong Chau absolutely broke my heart last night in The Whale, whooboy that's a helluva performance.
Love all 3 of you guys and your content! Always something special to see you together whether it be on the Schmoedown or videos like these with great conversations. Your passion is contagious and I got some good recommendations for some shows/movies I still need to see.

@kristian I can't believe you're not bought in to Banshees!!! I can't even describe to people how awesome and about nothing but something this movies about. I love the psychosis with Gleesam, and the idea that (in my mind, as an artist) that he wasn't good enough to have an opus. Playing the violin like I do, he's not great. But blaming him not being great, on the dullness of Farrell, just got me. And that Farrell didn't know that he was depressed, but was depressed (imo) chefs kiss 👩🍳👩🍳😘

Just listened to this on the podcast feed and loved this brilliant conversation, however I was absolutely gobsmacked that there wasn’t a single mention of Better Call Saul which is one of the best shows of all time. Can understand if Rocha and yourself Kristian didn’t see it but Dan made a 30+ minute review of it and raved about it so surprised that he didn’t mention it
Great to see the gang together. And I also really like this format rather than top 10 or whatever. Just talk about what is so great about something. And I agree with Kristian that I was not blown away by The Banshees of Inisherin. I was probably missing something - history or whatever. I would probably enjoy more with a video commentary from the director or something.
