    If you locate the pieces to just one side (I like the left) then you only need to remember one sequence not two.
    Incidentally, here is a little trick to reduce the 7 move alg for edge flipping: R U R' F R' F' R
    down to 4.
    R F' Z R
    Or down to 3 moves.
    For a 4×4: R 3Bw' R
    For a 5×5: R 4Bw' R
    etc.

    It looks like all big cubes odd or even layers apply the same algorithm to solve those annoying commutators. I been struggling with the last 2 center faces because of not understanding how the commutator actually works. I'm now going to be solving my 7x7 a bit more frequently. So far the best I have done was just a little over an hour

    • @GrizzMedia
      @GrizzMedia  4 года назад

      Yeah that's the right the same basic method is the same but it will just take more time since there more pieces to cover.

    A very humble request

    • @GrizzMedia
      @GrizzMedia  4 года назад

      You really shouldn't do opposite sides. It makes the swapping harder. I suggest finishing the opposite side so you have adjacent centers you can swap with

    • @GrizzMedia
      @GrizzMedia  4 года назад

      When changing the direction/determining which F move to use, you want to do it opposite to the side your slice down. If you slice down on the right you use F' if you do left you do F.
