A list of my favorite songs of 2010. Sure, there are plenty of other songs that made this year a vital one in music, and we wouldn't have had a great 365 days without them, however, these are the ones that stuck out to me the most. I hope you enjoy them, and get some good recommendations out of 'em.
Thanks for watching, ladies and gentlemen. Thanks for a great 2010, and I'm glad I was able to share so much music with y'all this year. You're awesome/amazing/fantastic. Keep it up.

I love "I Can Change" however "Dance Yrself Clean" was my absolute favourite on This Is Happening.

amazing choice in 'i can change'. feel the same way too. it's a song that both the most casual radio listener would like just as much as any music nerd. a bit like daft punk, even if you're looking for something bad, you don't find it. simply good music.
Totally agree with the top two tracks... thought I was the only one who loved one kind of nature! Love the list!

SO disappointed What Would You Want? Sky on here, personally my favourite track of the year! Rest of the list was good, but I'm shocked it didn't make it into your top 50!!!!! What's the deal!? You gave it a 9/10?!?!?

it's actually from 2009 but I found it in 2010! incredible INCREDIBLE song from brazilian artist MarceloD2 called Desabafo. He mixes traditional samba rhythm with hip hop.
@AScoppa I turned on Nick Jr. in the TV room. He loves Dora the Explorer.
I enjoyed the reference to Revolution 9. Oh and the list of course.

No love for the Black Keys? Best album of their career, but, oh, well. "Too Afraid to Love You" was a great track, in my opinion, but I'll have to check out some of the songs you've mentioned here. Keep up the good work.
I've only heard a few of the ones you mentioned. Surprised to not see any Titus Andronicus. I do approve of your #1. I don't think I even listened to 50 songs from 2010 let alone 50 different albums to pick them off of.
Yeah I agree with a few people below me, Jonsi deserved something. Whether it be his catchy "Go Do" or his atmospheric "Grow Til Tall," he needs some Fantano love.
I recognize the indie sweetheart and rap tunes, but I'm always up for checking out some needledrop-core. Good list.

It's all opinion of course, but why is Deerhunter's Revival so lowwwww?? Halcyon Digest may have been my favorite album of 2k10. That is my only qualm with your list. Where's excuses? or O.N.E.? or Good Intentions Paving Company? Those were definitly 3 of the best songs in 2010 staples in my opinion, other than I Can Change, Dancing On My Own, and Odessa.
