- I hit another motherlode of wax. Hopped across the border to Port Huron, Michigan and invaded Wal Mart and grab some Scentsationals, BH&G & Goosecreek wax melts. Picked up some makeup from Ulta. Also did a Goosecreek haul before my vacation and picked up some candles.
Hi Heidi, so glad you and Frank were able to get away. What a nice way to recharge your batteries from this Winter Freeze we have been having. Great haul. I always love to see what you pick up. Alot sound so wonderful! Especially the floral blends. Love Elf Products. Still have yet to try the liquid blushes. That's amazing how a small dab goes a long way. Enjoy your new goodies! What a nice way to end the day, a snack and a video from Heidi 😊 Love the wax haul. Sometimes when my land line rings, I pick it up and sing a tune, they hang right up....other times when I'm feeling frisky I tell them I'm taking requests and they hang up as well. Pesky sales people 😂😂😂
Aww, you are so sweet! I love how you deal with the calls! LOL! We are going to be getting rid of our landline soon. We all get the majority of our calls on our cells so it's just an added expense we don't need.
Great video!!! I always get excited when my phone says Heidi posted a video! So I grab my coffee, sit down and watch your videos! The fireplace in the background is so pretty along with your sweater. Goose Creek does well with tbeir Blueberry Cheesecake I also like their Blueberry Muffin, too. I love the label wrap on the Winter Splendor Candle, and the scent notes sound so good with the cinnamon and peppermint. Thanks for sharing ❤❤
Hi Kelly! Yes, winter has finally arrived here. We only had a few dustings of snow till this cold snap hit. The cinnamon and peppermint blend in the Winter Splendor candle is not overpowering at all and is blended so nicely with the other scents in it. Definitely one of my favourite that I have hauled from them. I was burning the Chocolate Peppermint one yesterday and it throws like a beast. I see the new spring scents are starting to trickle in. Do you know if they still carry the strawberry jam scent. That was the most authentic and delicious strawberry scent. I hope your health is continuing to improve. Sending healing and positive vibes your way!!
@heidiu2scrap I still have a large jar Strawberry Jam candle! I have just been hanging on to it. I think I have only burned it a couple times because it is so good. Check maybe this summer for that wax melt to return. 😁🍓

Hi Heidi you look so healthy with all the sun you got. I was surprised to see you back already. How was the Mayan Riviera, i have never been only to Puerta Vallarta. Nice to get more wax melts in Port Huron, i get nervous as well because i feel like sometimes the border securities treat you like a criminal. lol. How did you like all the snow and cold we got. Burrrr...
We went to the Occidental at Xcaret about a 45 minute drive from Cancun. We went to that resort a few years ago and the other couple we went with wanted to check it out. It is a beautiful resort with actual ruins in the resort. Right next door is a nature park where they have various sea mammals, bird sanctuary and you can swim in underwater caves. Previously we used to go over the border quite a bit but I have yet to be pulled over. (Knock on wood). I like the cold and snow so it was rather refreshing coming home. It was weird coming from +30 to -15 however! LOL!
@@heidiu2scrap Wonderful i have researched that property, i do a ton of researching before we go anywhere. Sitting on my computer by my window looking outside this morning Saturday, its gorgeous with all the snow falling. Enjoy this weather i am sure your dogs are going to love playing in this. I love the BH&G's Lemon Sugar Bars and the Rosewater & Coconut Milk. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😁 Picked up some GC wax melts in Walmart too. Key lime Cake Pops and Strawberry Sponge Cake are my favorites. Hubby likes them too.❤️❤️❤️ Your Sweater looks very pretty on You❤️❤️❤️❤️. Love the colors. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Happy Melting and Burning. Stay warmer and Cuddle up with Millie and Abby. I hate winter, can wait till spring gets here. I don't feel good today. I have a headache in the front on my forehead, stiff neck, chills, feeling ran down. Hubby made supper instead of me. I saw you hauling the Lemon Bar scent so definitely had to give it a sniff. So yummy! I'm so sorry you aren't feeling well. I've had a nasty headache for the past couple of days but I think I'm just over tired from travelling. I hope you feel better quickly. I do like fall/winter scents better than spring/summer scents so will be very excited to be able to hop the border in the fall to get more. Thanks for keeping me up to date with your wax hauls!! Great haul! I LOVE Deep Blue Waters! I love Aquaholic too. It smells just like Yankee Candle Cottage Breeze to me. Get the Fusion!!! They are so good! I didn’t realize you lived so close to MI!
Very nice makeup too. I want to try the new nyx color correctors. They were all picked over when I saw the display in my Ulta. Nothing but the testers pretty much.
I do love watery, aquatic notes especially in the summer and also year round in the bedroom or bathroom. Wal Mart Canada had a lot of fusion wax melts a few years ago and I loaded up but haven't seen them since. I definitely want to get more Butter Rum Mocha - such a delicious strong scent. I expect to bring back another bag full when I get there! The NYX concealer is very creamy so I hope it will work well with my dry, crinkly under eyes. The Elf one is thinner consistency so hoping it will cover up the blue rivers under my eyes. LOL!

How many days can you smell your Goose Creek wax melts?
I usually melt the goose creek melts for about 8-12 hours a day. I would say I can get about 24 hours out of them though it depends on the scent. Some start tapering off before then, some after. Thanks for so much for watching!
Great haul.When youre at Fred Meyer get a Freddys card so you get the discount price.They have Oak and Rye wax too.If your near Rite Aid they have Hosley amd Candle Lite wax.

😁LOL! I am now a certified, bonded wax mule! I crossed over again yesterday and picked up 30 clamshells of Fusion wax. (I remembered in my frenzy to pick Julian up also).

Well, I miss your candle reviews so much. Wow, you are set for a while with wax melts! Do you still burn candles while melting your wax? Was just wondering. I have decided to start burning down my stash of candles. Not sure I will ever get through my wax melts. I previously worked at a Yankee Candle store for 13 years so you can imagine how many candles, wax melts, and home fragrance items I have accumulated. By the way, did you get new glasses recently? I love them!
