The Troupe de Poetry - Vancouver Outsider Arts Festival 2022

Community Arts Council of Vancouver presents the 6th Annual Vancouver Outsider Arts Festival (VOAF), a festival that offers opportunities for exhibition, performance, connection and learning to visual and performing artists facing social exclusion and other barriers. VOAF is Canada’s first and only festival for Outsider Art, which is represented by significant fairs and museums globally. The artists may be self-taught or trained: they are all devoted to their creative practices, and come from a point of view that is outside the mainstream art world trends.
The Troupe de Poetry is a group of 4-5 poets who write and perform themed poetry for live audiences. They believe that Poetry is for the People! A passion for poetry started them off, with a few small poetry groups. Then with the arrival of COVID, the world went virtual, and so did they, with the creation of The Poetry Show with Karen and Friends.
