I have Aspergers and moderate hearing loss so I have hearing aids that happen to be compatible with bluetooth. I listen to asmr at work to lower stress and keep me calm. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate all these videos, ESPECIALLY this one with the high quality mic because the audio on my hearing aids isn’t the best quality 😅

I'm also an Aspie, and listen to ASMR at work for similar reasons. For folks who don't have hearing aids, I use a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort earbuds. They have solid noise cancellation, otherwise the ASMR wouldn't really work. (for me anyway)
@techguy5487 really nice to hear that! Although, many work places may not allow you to wear ear buds. Mine doesn't, but they don't know I have hearing aids 😉

I clicked on this just to see if a $10k mic would make a difference. And, wow, it really does!
This is one of the best video qualities I have seen. The mic really helps your voice shine and be extra tingly. I have seen it already like 15 times lol. I would love more binaural up close whispering videos (maybe not with this mic cause duh 10k but a 3dio?)!
1:26-2:27 was my absolute favorite variety of triggers in the video

ear cleaning without any tools, just touching the mics ears and face with your hands, like mic tracing almost, is one of my favorite asmr triggers ever 🫶

I loved this video but unfortunately u seem to favor the right side so much more than the left side making it quiet an unbalanced sound experiment. I hope u can recreate with just the mouth sounds going ear to ear more often

Over the few years I've been watching ASMR I think my favourite microphones tend to be on the cheaper end, something about lower quality mics just sound nice, but this one sounds great as well

this is so awesome. i love the sound. unfortunatly youtube kinda ruins the audio quality tho. not your fault they just have a limit on audio quality. it would be cool to hear it before it was uploaded to experience the full quality. although the crisp noise really does show the quality in comparison to some mics
I listen to ASMR for a very long time (at least 5+ years) and hardly get any tingles anymore, but this video already started off insanely sensational. Lots of tingles and a really good video overall! ^^

I dont think a $10,000 mic matters when I listen on $12 headphones.
Makes a lil difference, but you should buy phones of at least 50 for okey sound, better phones often last longer as well. In ear are also worse than on/over the ear and they have a wider range span of the sounds, especially for asmr! :) hhave a great weekend!

Some of the best examples of my Head are:
Quarks DSP ~20€ Very good sound with slightly reduced treble, some Quality issues if you're unlucky tho
Tangzu Wan'er ~25€ with proper EQ(AutoEQ for Wavelet via squiglink) the best sounding/measuring in my collection
(Even greater then my 350€ Ikko OH10 and Sennheiser HD600 Headphones)
Here the sound is bad quality, so even with good headphone it wouldn't change anything, she must have a bad recorder or something

I've looked at the product sheet and the frequency response is relativly flat till 6kHz with a wide dip/peak im the higher frequencies.
And based on this study is the elevation perception not representative of the database of ears they compared to.
(Study: Evaluation of the accuracy of photogrammetry for head-related transfer
functions acquisition using numerical methods)
So overall would i say it's better then most recording setups since it is a full head simulator and can be used for better "3d perception", the used mics are bad tho so it's definetly not worth the 10k imo.
If you would want a accurate recording i would look into the B&K 5128 but it's way to expensive for 99.99% of asmr youtubers.
