    I definitely wouldn’t say I’m stunned by this performance. Simbine was clearly in better form going into this race. People don’t treat him as enough of a medal threat, but he’s going to do better than last year.

      In 2008, he ran 9.76 to open his season before he ran 9.69. In 2009, he opened with 9.79. These guys are nowhere near WR pace.

    I kinda feel numb watchingbthe 100m and 200m.. 10:01 is a great time.. I certainly can't do it.. but after seeing a decade of bolt running sub 9.80, these times just don't do it for me

    I know its a played out narrative but i just dont understand how HS and college kids are in that much better shape then the pros. I understand training blocks and peaking but sprinting is really the main event that this cant happen in. No college kids are beating Arop even this time of year. Sprinting is so unique in that way.

      Diamond Leagues don't have finals or semi finals. You get invited.

      This is a one off race. Most Diamond Leagues are one offs. Some have heats and a final. But the proper Diamond League final is at the end of the season. Usually in Zurich or Brussels

But very soon they will be witch hunting him, if he dares achieving this feat at the Olympic. Yet all along their own has been achieving this, they never subject them to drug test. As Carl Lewis submmited they always look the other way whenever he was to carry out the test. We are watching them the same they did to Tobi Amusan before she was vindicated.🧐😳
