I am planning to go from Maduari Airport. Then plan is to go to Trivandrum to visit Kanyakumari from there. If I want to cover Athirapally Waterfall, what can be the best way or route?

I would suggest to skip Athirapally in that case if your plan does not include anything towards Ernakulam. A good Kerala tour plan, if started from Madurai can be, go to Munnar. Then from there go Aleppy and spend time on boat house. Either staying night at boat or take a day ride and stay at Kochi or Aleppy itself for the night. Then you can go to Trivandrum.. in such case, while going to Aleppy you can cover Athirapally..
