Awesome work ! Thank you for your dedication to making all these videos this year. Rest well and enjoy your loved ones. Have a happy and wonderful Christmas with your family.
Thank you so much, I'm currently prepping the next couple weeks of videos, and preparing to go back to my earlier schedule, it makes me real happy to both be back at it, and also to know that the fps horror series is close to completion, I think after this doing some smaller one shot videos on smaller (though still important and asked for subjects) will be super helpful in clearing my headspace. Thanks for your words, it's always very nice to hear from you and all the regulars, I mean that genuinely~ Hope you had wonderful holidays, we'll be back to our regularly schedule programming soon!
Oooh This looks great, good work! Spent all day looking at addons for Godot and found this from the reddit post. Excited to see something with a stamp workflow. I moved to Godot like 8 months ago? And I've been looking for something with stamps because I heavily used those in my workflow. Can't wait to see what it looks like at release!
Greeting from Argentina! I just found your channel and I wanted to say that it's like finding a hidden treasure. I started watching the fps horror series and it's just what I've been looking for as an aspiring game dev in godot, thank you! Enjoy your time off and happy holidays!
Thank you so much for the kind words, I'm glad the series was helpful, still got a ways to go on it, I hope I can make everyone proud on it xD Have a wonderful holidays as well~
...time, Mr. Bonkahe? Is it really that time again? Thanks for a whole year of excellent game dev content! This current project looks sick as all hell, btw. I really hope you take some more time off. You've done a great deal in a small timespan, no one is more deserving of a rest. I promise the rest of these won't be Half Life quotes. I just started playing Half Life 2 again, only this time I'm gonna finish it, damn it! Here I go getting sidetracked again... What I wanted to say is: Thank you so much for all you've done and don't work yourself to death on our behalf. You've given so much already, it's fine if you take a moment for yourself. I'll still be here when you return, I promise. Edit/PS: Forgot to say, Happy Holidays. Sorry it's 5am and I have serious insomnia, can't think.
lol, I love half life, I need to re-play the whole series! also if you haven't finished hl2 you owe it to yourself to see it through to the end, it's amazing, and it does make me a little sad to see hl3 more or less permanently shelved. Thank you so much for the kind words, all throughout the year, I hope you have a wonderful holidays~
@@Bonkahe I have played through Half Life 1 a few years ago. I tried beating HL2 before but lost interest around Nova Prospect last time. I think it's that Half Life 1 has a much clearer sense of progression and a very simple but compelling goal of: get to the surface. Also, I think the actual combat is honestly more fun in hl1, since the vortigaunts have more interesting attacks than just hitscan vs. hitscan. Anyway, I made it all the way to sandtrap on my first day of playing it. I am beating it this time, no matter what. I've always loved the characters and that alone will carry me through to the end. Having grown more of an appreciation for the excellent level design and world building also helps. The gunplay is ok enough, I suppose, though it is the one category where Doom 3 completely blows hl2 out of the water in my opinion.
So I thought about this quite a lot at the end of last year, however for the fps horror series I will not be implementing multiple guns (at least at this time), mostly due to me realizing I was having a little bit of burnout on the project, so I decided resolving all the loose ends and getting the animation/movement a little bit more into a solid state was higher priority, and then wrap up the project. That being said this is something that has been asked in the past and is currently on my backlog, I have quite a few but I should be getting to it (and a full inventory system) shortly after the end of this series, so probably in about 2 months if I had to guess, probably shortly after I'll make a tutorial on the subject of saving and loading data with multiple save files, and it will likely use the same. Sorry for the rambling thoughts, I hope it's not too much of a wait for you, sorry about that!
New add on looks great, good call on the break. Have a great Christmas!
Thank you for your work. Stay safe and warm.

Great progress! I really like the shapes of the mountains and the overall scale. Stuff like this takes time. Don't overextend yourself!
Sometimes having a break is the best thing you can do. Hope you enjoy your vacations and return with more motivation than ever.

Any plans to add a second weapon for the FPS or an entire weapon system in general?
