I like the way you went with this tribute. Very respectful, and makes sense to go with the album that has the most presence from Keith. I never actually got round to this one or the most recent from them, but I should at some point. I remember buying Invaders Must Die the day it came out ten years ago. That album was really big for me in terms of getting into electronic music, and heavier music in general. RIP Keith.
You probably dont care but if you guys are bored like me atm you can stream all of the latest movies on instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my girlfriend for the last weeks xD
Appreciated review. Keith is on music for the jilted Generation, his vocals on poison! +his presence throughout the record making process + music vids!🎶 R a v e i n P e a c e 🎶
Ok, turns out you are rite, I always thought that it was Keith Lol. maxim one vocal and the other voice is a sample! Cheers... He’s in the music vid though.
Man such a sad video. Prodigy has always been a huge inspiration to me. The first song I heard by them was firestarter and it totally hooked me. I loved the dark aggressive sound. It spoke to me.
Thanks for doing this tribute @wonkyangle, i was going to suggest doing a review of The Fat of The Land but your argument is good. Still gutted at the fact that we don't have keith anymore, hoping the band keeps going on even if its just Liam solo, it would be a pity to lose such a genius. Keep doing the awesome reviews you do, its always a pleasure to hear your clear opinion about electronic music.
I still can't get over that he is gone... Prodigy were and still are a big part of my life, I was planing to see them live after I've mised them last year to fulfil my plan to see the three major bands that shaped my music taste live (already saw Scooter and Underworld). And this plan is now gone... Thank you for this video. RIP Keith
Wow! Okay, now THAT was cool. I listened to the first half of the album, and I'm quite impressed by it. It's similar to the stuff that I love, and even the vocals are great (which is funny since I usually never like lyrics in electronic music unless it's funny)
Bit late to this memorial. The feeling you have towards Keiths presence on TDIME I have for Invaders must die. Omen is a better "duet" as Breathe, Colours is almost a literall call to arms and Run with the wolves is an awesome sonic boom of punk rock. But I also feel a massive presence of Keith in the callback to early rave in the tracks Take me to the hospital, World's on fire and Warriors dance. Both IMD and TDIME reminds us of his energetic persona on stage that will be missed by all fans of live performances.
Great review, pretty much sums up my thoughts on it! I remember "get your fight on" made me kind of angry the first time listened to it, because many parts of it seemed to be just copy & paste of "take me to the hospital" :D The Prodigy is my favorite band since I was 7 years old (I'm 22 now). Keiths death is a serious loss to the world, there is no one to replace his energy. Remember: suicide does not erase the pain, it's just shifted to the people that are close to you. If you have these dark thoughts, get help. It is curable.
I am a fan since 1994.My favourite album is Jilted Generation. I am not really a fan of The Fat of the land album. I strongly believe that The day is my enemy is very underrated album. In my opinion is one of their best albums. Dark, violent & aggressive-true Prodigy.
Exactly I have had a lot of people tell me that this album is shit. Imo u need to listen to the later songs instead of basing your entire opinion on the first two tracks. Invisible Sun, whoooo love that track
I first saw the Prodigy doing a PA at Sterns, Worthing in 1991, even though I wasn't really in to their post-hardcore music I was still really sad to hear about Keith's death, he seemed like a really genuinely great bloke. It's not fair to blame other people for someone committing suicide but I do hope his ex-wife is feeling bad about trying to take his home of 20+ years away from him right now, it's not her fault but she did twist the knife.
I think that rok-weiler have one of the best Flinty's vocals ever just listen to that emotions! I really cried when he died I'm in a very hard situation I wish I saw his just once...and thank Him Liam and Maxim for helping me to won agains depression...the fight that Keef battled himself... The battle that he lost... But for me Keef is still alive In our hearts And in the Liams Music The legend never die They Live FOREVER! Also Wall of death and Liam's vocal? ;-; Where!? 2 years later edit: Daamn, you can clearly seen how shocked I was at passing of the Keef ;-;
This comment was made before the video started, but I swore that I've already seen you review this album. Also rest in piece Keith Flint, whoever that is. I'm sure a lot of people cared about him. Sorry, I know nothing about The Prodigy.. I only know that Keith passed away because someone who watches my videos frequently told me.
Keith Flint was amazing but open eyes. Liam Howlett is main Prodigy head. More music will come. Maxim is nice SUPPORT. They will destroy even more. I'm sure.. Liam Will nail it even more. i know it !
Thought this was a real surprise album for me after Invaders. RIP Keith. The release of Fat of the Land was an event back in the day. Firestarter and Breathe were released up to a year before the album dropped. So much anticipation.
A fucking musical legend died and you decided that it would be MAGNIFICENT to tell everyone that you're SO AWESOME because you left a pathetic, useless piece of garbage comment before everyone else. Fuck you.

@Braylon Derrick Yup, I've been watching on instaflixxer for months myself =)
Was my first Prodigy album and got me hooked
RIP Keith Flint. Irreplaceable.
R.I.P. Keith Flint
Man this sucks. I wish he didn't die, and I hope The Prodigy still makes more music after this.
Appreciated review. Keith is on music for the jilted Generation, his vocals on poison! +his presence throughout the record making process + music vids!🎶 R a v e i n P e a c e 🎶
That’s Maxim Reality on Poison, not Keith, but never mind lol
The Wonky Angle it’s both of them, Dude.
Keith: “I got tha poison!”
Maxim “I got the remedy.” :)
Ok, turns out you are rite, I always thought that it was Keith Lol. maxim one vocal and the other voice is a sample! Cheers... He’s in the music vid though.

Experience is just the greatest album. Love it.

They announced a tour in 2023 and a new album (I think) will be released in the first half of 2023

You should review Fat of the Land as well!
Hard to even do it justice in a review. Lol
xHartliss Hates MTXs I meaaan, I get what you’re tryna say but it’s easy enough to do a review of if you love the album 🤷🏻♂️💁🏻♂️

Ikr
I jumped on a year after this album came out thanks to my mum who recommended these guys and Daft Punk to me!
R.I.P Keith Flint

2:00 irrelevant but, that lip smacking sound was beyond satisfying for some reason.
R.I.P Keith Flint, the original Firestarter

Check out Maxim from The Prodigy’s solo album called Hell’s Kitchen. One of my all time faves.

RotcodFox he had it on his top 10 albums of 2015 list that’s probably where you saw him talk about
@@patricklauer4452 Yeah, I think that's where I saw it.
The Prodigy is now a duo :(
Keith Flint was amazing but open eyes. Liam Howlett is main Prodigy head. More music will come. Maxim is nice SUPPORT. They will destroy even more. I'm sure.. Liam Will

You were right, they announced a european tour in 2023 and a new album (I think) will be released in the first half of 2023
May he rest in peace!

Good album and No Tourists is great RIP Keith
Honest as ever, never knowingly fawning.
RIP
Smack My Bitch, and Breathe are amazing
Will you check out and review Hyperion by Gesaffelstein?
0:19 WHAT!?

I think Fat, Invaders, and Day are their best albums.
