One of the reasons Dinky Dana got Fnaf 2 early was because he was the first person online to beat 4/20 mode on fnaf 1. I remember being on his stream when he did it and was shocked that Scott knew to give him a copy of the second game before release.
@bsheepdestroyermakesstuff7222 Then he would be the King of fnaf RUclips then. Dinky was the King of Fnaf Twitch. I hadn't seem anyone on RUclips do it live, must have missed his channel
@@theotherguys20xx85 yeah, bigbug is the reason scott added a third star in fnaf 1, because he thought 4/20 mode was impossible until bigbug was able to beat it.
I didn't play FNAF1 until a bit later so it may not have been first, but FNAF2 was the challenge I spent months on and finally completed. Scott gave me access to FNAF 2 because all of you were in my livestream when we got the "killed Foxy" glitch and I sent him the video of us all enjoying his game!
Just a few corrections I noticed: - Nightmare Fredbear/Nightmare teleporting from the 10-second mechanic does not cause them to laugh, those teleports are silent. The laugh teleports are separate. - Yenndo doesn't compare the generated number to its AI level with ≤, it just checks if it is smaller. Resultingly, he does not appear if his AI level is 1. - I think something got messed up for Funtime Foxy, talking about 5 seconds that need to pass until he attacks? He just attacks when next progressing, or automatically progresses if the door is closed and it's a 5-second interval. - Bonnet generates a random number from 0 - 29, not to 30 {:} - Bidybab's mistake is similar to Funtime Foxy, they don't get reset upon moving and seeing the vent is closed. Instead, it's just automatically after 2 cumulative seconds of the vent door being closed, or immediately if at 4 progress. - MInireena 2 is a random number from 0 - 39, not 0 - 30 (might just be a typo though {:}) - v1.12 actually released midday on December 4th, not December 3rd, the announcement was edited when the update went live - FNaF3's night is 6 minutes, not 5:48 (it was inconsistent pre-patch) - Minus Three Strat isn't new, it was rediscovered I guess? It was first documented by CrystalSaver back in Nov 2014 in a Steam post and RUclips video I don't think they're all *that* serious, but I think they're worth pointing out.

So glad to have had the opportunity to help with this :D. The max mode community has done so many incredible things with these games, and trust me, UCN is LOADED with stuff that you wouldn't believe unless you saw it. Part 3 will be crazy (if it happens :p).
I'm happy I was able to help provide some info for this, and even happier that FNaF's max mode community is finally getting the attention it deserves. I don't keep up with it much anymore nowadays, but considering how small and unknown this corner of the fandom was when I started my guides, it's a bit surreal and very fulfilling to watch the work and achievements of so many skilled people be brought to a wider audience in video essays like this. Yet another banger, great work dude!
Only today realised I didn't know how Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location's Custom Night worked lol. Thanks for fully explaining that one, I haven't come across any documentation for it.
I'd love to see a FNAF 4 update with Twitch integration where whilst the streamer is playing blind mode, allowing the viewers to see the gameplay (with the understanding that getting viewers to communicate visual cues in chat for the streamer is cheating, though i think the distraction from reading would kill them anyway) I think it'd be cool for tension
Great video!! Just wanted to thank you for not including jumpscares - I love FNAF content, but its always a coin toss. PTSD reacts awfully to sudden loud noise, so the ability to enjoy this in peace is deeply appreciated ♡♡ Thanks man!
This is probably the most hyped I've felt when I get a notification of a Part 2 from an awesome series. It's really amazing how we as a maxmode community we're getting more recognition thanks to your videos. And the way you explain each game and scenario is way perfect for people that are new on this kind of information. Really weird been a fan of your content and also been named in your video at the same time, ngl XD. Can't wait for UCNs video! :D P.S - One thing to mention on FNaF 2 is that on Oct. 3, 2022, insstaa beat 10/20 mode without using the vent lights, meaning you need to get a huge amount of luck on Toy Bonnie to beat the night. To predict Toy Bonnie even more, he used the double cam glitch in the right vent, where if you time it right the cameras can detect Toy Bonnie reaching the office, since the static sound cue for some reason doesn't stop until you put on your mask to avoid him (I became second victor without exploit and a subscriber of mine became the third lol).
if you make another "bonus section" in the next one you could bring up astral spiffs completing 5 of pizzeria simulators 6 certificates in one save (6 is impossible due to bankruptcy not being possible on saturday and also deleting your save once it happens)
Thank you for giving light to the game play aspects of fnaf. I feel like the lore bits always take the spotlight, and there’s little appreciation for the gameplay mechanics
i have terrible hearing when it comes to conversations, but when it comes to fnaf 4, i can distinguish every sound with ease. idk why but i wish i could work like that outside of the game edit: forgot to mention but im pretty sure the "fake laugh" is distinguishable from him actually getting inside
I wish there were more videos like this, where they talk about more obscure yet interesting things about fnaf. It’s just a great and fun way to pass the time.
33:35 Let me elaborate: As you mentioned at 32:57 after you reach a certain skill level SL 10/20 greenruns (Pre and Post-Patch) are very RNG based, in particular Ballora and Bidybab are the biggest issue, since the more they attack, the more power gets wasted. Funtime Freddy is also RNG when it comes to greenruns, but if you time him correctly you only close the door for a few frames, therefore he's not nearly as power consuming as Bidybab and Ballora. So if you get perfect RNG, Ballora and Bidybab can never show up, meaning you only need to worry about checking Funtime Foxy every 5 seconds and shocking Electrobab every 10 seconds, which if done efficiently enough leaves you with 13% power left. I said 11% is the realistic limit, since I was 2 seconds away from said power % in my 10% run, so with enough speed while dealing with Electrobab and good RNG it's doable. Also, it's pretty important to mention that 10/20 Post-Patch and Pre-Patch are ENTIRELY skill-based, while going for a regular (AKA non-greenrun) win. If you play well enough you can always get 3-4% win on Pre-Patch and about 18-19% on Post-Patch, even with the worst possible RNG. Great video btw, keep up the good work!
Now see, THIS is the technical FNaF content I want to see! so glad stuff like this is getting talked about more, I just find them super intriguing. Awesome video man! Love your stuff!
Great video! I really appreciate the amount of research you put into these videos, it's really intriguing to learn the inner workings of all these games and how these members of the community are able to use that knowledge to do what we see as the impossible. man, scott should mak seperate fnaf custom nights for each game, like fnaf 1 custom night and its the fnaf 1 map but has a bunch of other animatronics but not every one.
25:34 If you allow Lolbit to fully progress, your control of the Doors, Vent and Cameras is disabled while their message is playing. A lot more dangerous than a mere distraction if you get Yenndo at the same time.
Now we just gotta wait for Part 3, analyzing UCN 50/20, FNaF World (maybe beating the hardest bosses without any of the intended ways to beat them), Help Wanted, and the Curse of Dreadbear DLC. Fourth video can be dedicated to Security Breach, Ruin, AR, Freddy in Space 2, and Fury’s Rage.
I've beaten all of the challenge modes in games 1-5,(excluding 20/20/20/20 in fnaf 4 because im doing it right now) while also 100%-ing FNAF 6 because I play on xbox, and clickteam added achivements for beating the custom nights on the hardest modes. And as someone who loves going for achivements I did not want to sit with 90% game completion. It bugged me too much.
The previous custom night video was absurdly awesome. So much that I saved it to rewatch more times. Thank you for this new video explaining the other games.
Awesome video, can't wait for the ucn one whenever you make that because even if you only cover a fraction of what we've done, it's still a LOT compared to the other games.
This is deep FNAF maxmode lore, but the laughs of Nightmare and Fredbear aren't NECESSARILY RNG. Fake laughs and movements don't operate on the same timer, so if you know every fake laugh interval, you can eliminate them entirely.
These are actually really entertaining, didnt think id like to watch almost 2 hours worth of content about custom nights. You're good at keeping me engaged, thats for sure
While I knew about some of the early technical stuff thanks to that one video that looked at the og fnaf code and explained how it works, it’s crazy to see how much can be found both there and in the other games! I can’t wait for that UCN vid you better reach that goal
4/20 is actually really easy even if you let foxy in. you can't really mess up after foxy gets in you have plenty of time for every animatronic. only way you can mess up is if you get nerved up over the flickering lights
Wasn't it the case with Fredbear/Nightmare that you could tell whether or not they did a fake laugh if you heard laughter and footsteps at the same time?
So it seems technically you could beat the Ennard bossfight in Sister Location while using absolutely 0% of the power yourself; it would just require immense luck for Ennard to do jack sh*t for 9 minutes. I bet you could simulate a lot of games on a powerful computer, and eventually some of them would beat the game with that theoretical limit of 17.2% leftover power.
I did some quick math, and Ennard has about a hundred movement opportunities per night, assuming no power outage (I wanted a more precise number, but there are inconsistencies between sources on some details of his exact movement timings, and I can't figure out which is the correct one nor bother to waste more time trying). This means the chance he doesn't move at all is about 0.5^100 or close to a 1 in 100 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 chance, which isn't happening basically ever. No amount of computing with current supercomputers is likely to ever procure such an event without unlimited time. Obviously this is very crude math and Ennard could be allowed to move more than once before he actually killed the player (I don't know how many moves he takes to kill as I haven't played the game), but it may give some idea on how ridiculous it would be to beat the night completely idle.
...5 50/50 chances in a row? that's only 1/32! you could totally do that if you're willing to spend a few days grinding probably there's more to it than just getting lucky enough times though
