  • In Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Behavior Chain Analysis (BCA) is the technique used to look at behavior in context and determine the controlling variables. There are five components of a BCA: vulnerabilities, prompting event, links, the behavior, and the consequences or outcomes. This video uses scenes from toy story to first show a sequence of events and then goes through identifying the components of the BCA for the scenario.
