Beautiful bike. I'm a huge Suzuki fan. I've got a 2018 gsxr 1000R. This young man came ripping by me on of those. Awesome machine. If I had room for two I would absolutely grab one. That clear clutch kit is insane. Love it
@@Revmatch-mr2hu May I ask you just one question , how come Suzuki have the clear clutch ? How about the other bikes ? Let say Honda or Kawasaki or Yamaha then ?
Hello, what great video, how did you know how much torque to apply to the clutch cover and plate nuts? I think this is too important, do you think the packaging of the cover that comes with it is of good quality or is it better to put an original one? Does putting this accessory on lose the motorcycle warranty?
Hello, I would like to ask you how you knew how much torque you should tighten each nut, since we know that if we tighten too much we could damage the engine thread, break the screw or put too much pressure on the clutch discs. Could you explain to me what you mean by applying wax to the glass so the oil wouldn't adhere, please? thank you so much😇
looks cool. I couldn't find one for my 2020 Katana 1000,, only found the GSX-S750 style. not sure if it will work on a GSX-S1000. having other issues with clutch at the moment.. clutch is not engaging. start slipping around 3,000 rpms and does NOT grab at all at 4,000 or higher rpms. damn bike has 117 miles on it.. ONE HUNDRED SEVENTEEN. and the clutch is screwed,,lol. back to the dealer.
Hey mate. The clutch slip on your bike might just be the centre nut adjuster on the clutch pack. If not adjusted properly, it could cause the clutch to slip. Just a thought 👍👍 u don't think the 750 cover will fit. Look up 2019 gsxs1000s clear clutch cover on ebay. It should come up.
@@Revmatch-mr2hu don't know about the center nut,, haven't done anything to the bike, just picked it up NEW about 3 weeks ago,, road it 3 times, put about 90 miles on it. the morning of the 3rd time it started slipping. didn't want to tear into it, it's still under warranty. not sure if the GSX-s750 and the GSX-s1000 use the same clutch cover,, looks like it would fit. I traded in a GSX-s750 for the Katana 1000,, great trade, even with the clutch problem.
@@Revmatch-mr2hu just got my bike back from the shop.. the first 6 disk were completely GONE, all the padding was caked inside the basket and case. totally disintegrated. the bike has 117 miles on it. not off to a good start on a $11,000 bike. warranty covered the repair, but damn now I got to worry about other damages all the clutch fibers have done to other parts of the engine.
@@Revmatch-mr2hu wish it was that easy.. gotta play the game. They won't trade bikes without a fight. They claim to have fixed it, can't do much until something breaks.
No you can't prevent it unfortunately mate. I used wax andxgrease remover on the inside glass before installing. Wiped clean and then installed it. Oil runs straight off the glass with no issues. Hope that helps.
Hi guy. I installed a cover similar to yours on my gsxs750, but as I said, it gets blurry due to the oil sticking to the transparent part. I saw that you used grease and wax remover, was it a specific one? Could you share here a link to an example you used? I'm afraid of buying it and having a problem with the product with the oil.

Looks beautiful. What kit did you order. I have a 2016 GSXS-1000 . Does the 2007-2008 GSXR 1000 kit fit on the bike. The motor in our bike is the 2005-2008 GSXR 1000 engine

It is an aftermarket item. I'm sure there are ones for other brands as well 👍👍

Thanks mate. I ordered off ebay. Supplier is from UK but did arrive quickly to Oz.
Great vid. Do you have the link for the cover?
yea we need a link please
How does it looks filled with oil? It isn‘t a dry clutch like Ducatis? Cheers
Very thin smear of oil over the glass area but clear. Even with motul oil it's the same. 👍
Great job! 👍🏻
Thanks mate 👍
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻I LOVE YOU BIKE
Thanks 👍
Do you need to drain the oil before fitting clutch cover!? Sorry if stupid question not very mechanical
All good mate. Put a piece of timber under each wheel and leave bike on the side stand. That will keep the oil at bay. 👍👍

I dont think so as the 2005 model engine is different. Try searching for the 2001 model, might get lucky 👍
