Here’s the chin lip I used for bottom of the front bumper.

That's a great budget idea. A video on how you plastic welded and finished the bumper/ valance would be great. Always looking to learn something new. Thanks for sharing
I’m actually editing a video now on how to repair a plastic bumper that’s cracked in half. The info in this video will work to repair and patch the exhaust hole in this project. Only way for me to show exactly step by step how this was done would be to do another one and at the moment it’s just not a thing. I would like to try this again using same bumper but get more flare out at the bottom but currently I’m still just brainstorming how to do it on a low budget.
Again that’s what I like about your channel is I did that blow your mind that came off of what there’s no way yes it did 👍👍👍
Man thanks so much lol.
I would have never guessed! thanks, for sharing
That’s what I’m here for. You’re welcome
That looks really good! Always nice to say I made that or I did that then I bought that. I can't wait to see it run.
Yea I’m the same way man. I’d rather build something than buy something already done for me if it’ll save me hundreds
Car is beautiful. I’m building a mopar that has about three more parts available than the Comet so I’m soaking up all the tips and advice.
Lol I feel the pain on parts. With the comet mavericks the nice stuff that is available is just way to high bc its not mass produced. I refuse to pay what some of these parts cost and will build before I buy.
that lower valance is AWESOME! it will definitely last way longer then the fiberglass ones. I like OEM bumpers because they are super flexible way more then aftermarket. looks so good
Yessss that was my thoughts. You can flex it like crazy putting it on and it’s not terribly heavy. Also it doesn’t take the support that a fiberglass one needs.
LOOKS AMAZING!! that'd be a great product for you to make and sell!!!
Thanks
I bet Harper a handfull!!! I remember whem mine was little into everything!!!
She’s wild AF! She’s definitely gonna always want to go to the track with me as she gets older bc she loves busy atmospheres
Never thought about. Great idea and looks to be easily done just time to do it. I am gonna try it on my s10 maybe build a body kit
Yea it’s pretty flexible so it’ll form to whatever
Looks really good I had a Grabber GT years ago one of many that got away
Man that was an amazing car I’m sure. Wish you still had it.
Thats awesome
Thanks hopefully it helps someone
That's cool man great idea!
Thanks!
looking awesome
Thanks
slick as hell looking and budget too, its like a sore pecker, you cant beat it. BUILT NOT BOUGHT!!👍👍
Lol you tha man 😂
That's nice
Thanks hopefully it helps others
I thought I was the only guy daydreaming the junkyard for custom parts until I found your channel lol. Question...I have a 1972 vega but the owner before me put a 1 piece fiberglass 1975 front clip on it. I want the lower valance look so been throwing ideas around how to make one. Have any ideas? I don't know how similar the vega and comet front clips are design wise.
I’m not familiar with the Vega but you could either try one of these or maybe something off a S10. The GMC envoy has a nice flat chin spoiler under its front bumper that you could try. I have one but I didn’t use it. I also use to have a lower chin spoiler off a camaro.
How many employees to you have at ur shop and are you the only one that paints ?
I did have 3 and myself. Now I currently have myself and two others. My main guy that’s been with me the longest can paint anything basic but I do most all the painting myself.
The open space in between looks not very good. Not the intercooler space. It looks good. The inch or two in between the top and bottom bumpers . The only open space should be the square space for the intercooler. It doesn't look uniform. Maybe that's not what you want.
Yea it did have a small filler panel on there but I decided to remove it to make the front end simpler and faster to remove during maintenance. Also it dropped about 3 pounds off the nose of the car which is a plus. I may make a light weight filler panel for them areas one day. It right now the less on the car the better.
Can you tag the eBay valance. I'm going to use it for a 85 S10 blazer and a 96 mustang.. The Centry bumper will work for both thank you
I don’t know how to tag it on here. Idk if they will let me post a link. I’ll see if there’s on on eBay
There’s no affordable ones on there right now. You’ll have to try your local junkyards
@@ThePaintPaperHustle Ive built them out of the flat poly sheets but this looks so much better
Yea this gives it some good curve
@@ThePaintPaperHustle I may have said it wrong. Can you find the piece where you added to the bottom off the Cutlass bumper for the lip. It all looks totally amazing. I've definitely learned Alot from you and turbo john
