During the intro, I'm saying 'Please be a tracker, please be a tracker", YES! Hell yeah, well done man! Great work filming the Raptor at Miramar!
Much appreciated thanks for your comment and thanks for watching!
this is the most perfect aircraft video ive ever seen. doesnt even look real. thanks !
Thank you very much, that’s really appreciated!
What a dream. I was at MCAS last year and they only showed up after the main show--missed their slot but did flybys in full burner as we were leaving. I love that plane. Glorious post-stall maneuvering.
Finally someone that can get some good shots, doing gods work here Jack.
Thank you so much I really appreciate that, I do try my best!
I feel like I sort of have to address your amazing camera work. The F-22 is always dead center in the shot, impressive and just awesome!
Thank you so much! Although I can’t take 100% credit - I added some stabilisation in post. Thanks for watching!
@@AviateJackNevertheless it's still an awesome video.
This footage is actually insane, OMG!
Thank you much appreciated!
C’est absolument superbe. Merci beaucoup pour le partage.
Merci. Je suis contente que tu l'aies apprécié!
IMO the best demo pilot in the biz. Fighters worry about "losing energy" in a fight, or so I've heard. The F-22 can sit in one spot and target you no matter where you go - always in the windshield = busted. Call this the Ghostbuster. Mama mia!
I don't know how you don't have more subscribers and views as your videos are amazing quality.
Thank you so much I really appreciate that!
Crazy plane flights so perfect looks CGI
Thanks much appreciated!
The way it's stabilized it looks straight out of a video game.
What a life... The F22 Demo Team is about 14 guys - and they do this most of the year. This is a stock asset - not a special variation for demonstration. One pilot is certified to perfom these maneuvers in front of close proximity crowds. A very small team - with a whole helluva lot of impact. What a bird. I do prefer three in the Heritage Flight - but this is cool.
Yeah they’re rockstars in my book! Would have loved to have seen the heritage flight, it was supposed to be at the pacific airshow a week ago later but cancelled due to weather
Would we get a demo for the “upgraded” version?
@@justsaiyan8678 I suppose, why not??
Turning one afterburner off on the petal turn is crazy. Wow never noticed they did that
Yeah pretty cool to see, it’s got me wondering if they would ever do something like that in combat
Top gun maverick style
i wonder if that was the pilot or the fly by wire system. never heard of any other jet purposefully using differential thrust to induce yaw before. well, except Maverick of course XD
Very impressive ❤
Thanks for watching!
Spectacular tracking of the aircraft!
Thank you very much!
Wow what a video! I was there and this honestly is a better view
Thank you very much! I hope you enjoyed the show!
Excellent video!
Thank you very much!
Very impressive !
This is totally amazing! How did you stabilize the camera so well? What tripod and software did you use?
Thanks much appreciated! I use a manfrotto tripod with a fluid head, and premiere pro + after effects (extra stabilisation added in post)
@@AviateJack Awesome! thanks for letting me know! Hows the stabilization feature in Premiere Pro compared to Davinci Resolve?
I haven’t fully tested davincis stabilisation, only used it briefly when I tried davinci for a couple weeks. It was alright but I already knew what I was doing in premiere/after effects and they work pretty well so I ended up sticking with them. The most important thing I’ve found (this is a given), is to record the footage as stable as you possibly can before stabilising in post. Software can do great things but it can only go so far. This is the thing I’ve had to practice the most and try get better at.
@@AviateJack Awesome, thanks for letting me know! Much appreciated and keep up the great videos!
Stunning Photography! Loved seeing control surfaces moving. Does it take rudder to hold knife edge flight? Great Flying...I'm 78 but I want one lol
Thank you very much! I’m honestly not 100% sure but I would assume so since the nose has to be kept somewhat at an upward angle whilst the plane is on its side
3:27 you can see him pull power on the right engine to initiate the rotation
Good eye, amazing coordination from the pilot! Thanks for watching!
Was just going to say that! Made me think of the scene near the end of Top Gun Maverick when he kicked the single afterburner to throw the plane over. (although this one is just *slightly* more realistic) ;-)
7:21 Oh hey Cabo!
holy shit your video is so crisp
Thanks I appreciate that!
what cam and editing apps do you use?
I use a Sony A7IV and premiere pro + after effects
@@AviateJack I’m trying to give my videos more pop. I’ve been looking around and Premier pro looks like something worth purchasing. I currently use davinci resolve but I don’t really like they way the Image stabilization looks
@@AviateJack do you stabilize ur videos in after effects or premiere pro?
I started with premiere, and eventually tried davinci, but it just wasn’t for me. I can do everything I need in premiere, and I actually just prefer it. I do my stabilisation in after effects - that’s the only thing I use AE for really.
@@AviateJack thank you so much! U have earned a new subscriber keep up the great work
Where is the Chinese balloon?
It is very difficult to appreciate the maneuvers in these videos where the plane is kept zoomed all time. We only see the aircraft pivoting on the screen but without a big picture to get as reference. I know the plane is beautiful but if I wanted to see the rivets details I would pick some pictures. On the video what I really wanna see is the entire maneuver filling the screen.
I appreciate not everyone enjoys this style, but some people do - it’s hard to please everyone. I’m not saying I won’t incorporate other perspectives in the future though, so I will consider your point. Thanks for watching
Peerless cinematography. Great audio, not contaminated with music. Many thanks.
Thank you very much, I really appreciate that!
The commentator is so cringe.
Wonder why US fighter jets give of less black smoke while flying than Russian ones!?
They're more efficient. Smokey engines = not all fuel being burned.
US jets used to pump out smoke like crazy. the north vietnamese could see an f-4 from 50 miles away cuz its engines were so smokey. we spent a lot of time and money to fix that, esp. on a stealth jet.
dude you keep cutting the video during the most interesting parts....super annoying
Mcas?737 max.i mean I am a boeing fan and mcas is fixed now but....
Do you have instagram or something I can contact you on. I got Pr and Ae but in Ae I’m having a little bit of trouble with the warp stabilizer. I was wondering if I could get your help on your editing style for your your videos
