I think that both Tori Kelly and Kelly Clarkson handled those high notes very well
Kelly is so TERRIBLE................. on having bad moments. Honestly, even when she's "not great" she's still amazing. She is so underrated. There's so many lists on the internet about "best female vocalist from 2000 to now" and she's usually not even mentioned. Damn.
In Tori Kelly's defense, NoEEEEEEEEEL is a closed vowel compared to DIVIIIIIIIIIINE which is an open one.
It's not even related to that i think lol. "No-" and "Di-" are both closed vowels and both notes opened up to an "Ah" vowel which was the best alternative for a belted high note (💯!!) She's so good i actually prefered her "failed" NOEL 🤣
i think the "fail" is in *placement* which sounds much healthier in the DIVINE 😁

I think it shows extremely good character that the person that shared this video states that he's not trying to abuse these singers in any way. We sometimes forget that they are human and as it was previously stated that they may be sick, exhausted etc. I love watching videos where the person that uploaded the video is compassionate & not looking to demean them. It has to be in incredibly difficult to fall in front of the world

Morissette was apparently on tour in Milan in December a few years back and was ill prepared for the cold weather. During her concert, she was still able to whistle for her signatute song, Akin Ka Na Lang, and felt confident about doing the same for O Holy Night. Unfortunately, she lost her whistle while performing the Christmas carol. Just too bad.
